I have more than one passion. There's hairstyling, theatre, photography...but one stands out to me the most right now...Music.
I've been relying on my music to get me through this hard time that I'm having with Joe.
I heard a song today that made me just break down and cry...which is something I needed to do. The lyrics in the song and Anouk's voice (sounds like crying) just realed me in...and it didn't let go until it was over. I even listened to it over and over again until my tears dried. It was playing in the background of this picture, even!
My music becomes me!
I also heard a Bright Eyes song that made me feel better about being such a big baby with my tears...

This single was released the year that I was born. I heard this song once as a child and was just awestruck by the words and the concept of saying goodbye to those whom you deeply love. It was several years before I heard it again but I instantly grilled my Scoutmaster (who had the recording) and asked him for a copy. I sat and listened to this song over and over… struck by the beauty of life as seasons under the sun… and the horror of facing those seasons coming to an end.
