Evidence that fall is one the way -- Some of the Goldfinches are starting to shed their spring-summer outfits. If you view this large you can see it better....Plus the amazing way they hang on and bend over backwards to use this type of feeder.

she's playing along with me! I asked for a Benny Hill Salute, but, she had never heard of him, so this is close enough.

Hate, I’m your hate.

I’m your hate when you want love.

Pay, Pay the price..

Pay for nothing’s fair..

Hey, I’m your life

I’m the one who took you there.

Hey, I’m your life

And I no longer care.

I’m your dream, make you real..

I’m your eyes when you must steal..

I’m your pain when you can’t feel..

Sad but true.

I’m your truth, telling lies..

I’m your reasoned alibis..

I’m inside open your eyes,

I’m you.

Logging has started near our cottage. It's sad, but it's reality and I guess still necessary.

But no one wants it to happen so close to them...NIMBY.

So when we rounded the corner and saw this truck ahead, I grabbed the camera. Not because those timbers possibly came from our road, but because of their massive size...esp those two big lads on the bottom!

And, I'd hoped to capture the way the conditions personified my feelings....mixed percipitation, grey skies, and a little misty.

Trafford centre with the girls today. Chicken Korma at the Shere Khan express followed by Ice Cream from Thorntons.

Problem.

1 scoop £2

2 scoops £2.50

3 scoops £3.

Solution.

1 ice cream 3 scoops £3,

box of cones (bottom right of picture) 79p

3 ice creams £3.21.

Yes yes yes.

I would bother if they were £1 or £1.50 each, but when the pricing for 1, 2 and 3 scoops was £1.60, £1.80 and £2 respectively - I just though why not bring my own cones.

Can't get anything in Jessops for £2.79 though.

I'll take it like a ritual, i promise will break my board every end of the year.

Happy new years friends, skateboarders and photographers

It's a lazy sunny afternoon in Florida and I felt like reading a book in my hammock. So I brought out the hammock I crocheted years ago. I was delighted to find it didn't break on me. :-)

Although, as this 50s video shows, my first attempt was not so successful: www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8BqV4LNspc .

I stole this from my Facebook timeline.

Eurasian Owl, this week an Eurasian Eagle owl was found close to my friends house, it was obviously a pet and the finder took it to my friend because he was a falconer.

The owner turned up eventually to collect his bird but his knowledge of the bird and its requirements were suspicious. The relevant authorities were contacted and the bird unfortunately had to be handed back. Twenty four hours later the bird was found dead in a local park. Sometimes ownership and knowledge don't match up.

Yes, that's a McDonald's menu you can see through the fire. The McDonald's in Warren, NH had a two-sided gas fireplace in the middle of the dining area, much like the one in the Davis Square Starbucks. It blew my little mind.

Listening to cover songs of Metallica will never feel the same, now tha I have heard them from the Masters themselves. Watching them play Master of Puppets was enough for me to feel satisfied. I was very disappointed with St.Anger Album, but they resurrected themselves with a much better album this time with Death Magnetic. I was sceptical of James's voice, but he laid all my doubts to rest. Not only can he still sing and play, but has the same energy. Lars was as usual pounding away on the drums like a maniac, Robert playing the bass like its a toy, and Kirk was his usual Mr.Cool. Concert had great sound, fantastic laser lighting, and some pyrotechnics to with it as well.

You can look right through my camera.
