With heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your husband dear Elfie, my thoughts and prayers are with you!!
Well, we started our Cali trip by walking the the same route that Shara Nelson did in the music video for Massive Attack. Mostly uneventful, the streets were relatively quiet, but snagged this at the start.
I like both, and would love to have one. Back there a Mopar car, but Desoto, Chrysler? Concerning the car upfront, that could either be a Chevrolet or a Plymouth for me - without checking.

I know that I've been mad in love before
And how it could be with you
Really hurt me baby, really hurt me baby
How can you have a day without a night
You're the book that I have opened
And now I've got to know much more
The curiousness of your potential kiss
Stopped got my mind and body aching
Really hurt me baby, really hurt me baby
How can you have a day without a night
You're the book that I have opened
And now I've got to know much more
Like a soul without a mind
In a body without a heart
I'm missing every part
Like a soul without a mind
In a body without a heart
I'm missing every part
This policeman was talking to tis homeless artist who was trying to sell enough of his sketches to pay for a night in a hostel and food.
I've needed too many sympathy cards lately and they are not easy ones to create. This one is for a coworker of my dh - she tragically lost her son on Friday.
I color layered some images from CL428 Earth Flowers and paired them with butterflies from CL383 Antique Engravings. The sentiment is from CL342 Everyday Sayings.
Other Materials Used:
Stampin' Up cs, pp and ink
Ranger tumbled glass and peeled paint distress inks
Queen & Co pearls
Nesties

If you let me out of these cuffs I'll only make you suffer a little bit, I promise.
A little tribute to my favorite dominatrix web artist Nic Buxom.

Last Sunday, our friend lucycat lost her husband of 21 years, apparently to a sudden, massive heart attack. My heart goes out to her in her time of sorrow, but as she said on her Facebook page, it is springtime in Tennessee, and she intends to enjoy it as she readies herself for a move to the West Coast. May her grief be somewhat eased in knowing how many of us are here to comfort her.

I invite you to stroll through My Galleries.
I needed a sympathy card and this came together quickly as I used an already colored and cut butterfly from my stash (CL383 Antique Engravings) and a piece left over from my color layering experimentation. The sentiment is from CL342 Everyday Sayings. I also clear embossed CG119 Flourish BG on the bg panel.
Other Materials Used:
S5316 Silhouette Grass
H5312 Silhouette Burst
Ranger Distress inks (dusty concord and wild honey)
Stampin' Up cs and ink
Nestie Labels 8

Sometimes simple is easiest for sympathy. I am working on my sympathy stash as it's so hard to make when it's needed. For more info check out my blog:
Day 10 - The Killing Fields
After surviving what must have been a horrific time at one the detention centre, people were then brought to the killing fields by the Khmer Rouge, led by Pol Pot. The fields are so named as this is where they were killed, by various methods from nails being hammered through the top of the skull, to beheading, to being beaten to death with various farming implements. After being executed the bodies were thrown in mass graves. When exhumed tens of thousands of bodies were found.
This is the fence around one of the exhumed mass graves. People have lovingly left friendship bracelets in sympathy, support and remembrance of those who suffered such an awful regime.
Created a frosted glass look with some UTEE and White Pearls embossing powder over top of watercolor paper and images from the With Sympathy (CL476) set.
