In this moment the decision was made, he didn't hold on to his pride, there was no need for any further contemplation and even though doubts and uncertainty still plagues his mind, he knew he was ready....

The Daihatsu Feroza is an automobile nameplate used by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Daihatsu between 1989 and 2002 for two SUV models: Daihatsu Feroza (F300 series), an export version of the F300 series Rocky sold between 1989 and 2002

In Europe and Australia, the F300 series Rocky is known as the Daihatsu Feroza, as the name "Rocky" was used for the larger F70 series Rugger/Fourtrak in most countries.

The multi-point fuel-injected engine was available in Australia. The Australian Feroza II SXP variant was available in 1993 although the carburetted model was dropped from the Japanese lineup, with only the 70 / 77 kW (94 / 103 hp; 95 / 105 PS) engine remaining in the lineup.

If these tears could talk

They would tell you that there's some beauty in every pain I've felt

In every regret I've consummated

In every hurt I've harbored

In every wave of depression that crashes on the rocks of this endless sea

In every desire I've ever been dangling at the dividing line of

In everything I've lost and things yet to be found

I've been able to see some beauty…

Stagecoach Fife Volvo B11R/Plaxton Elite 53808 (YY65 SXP) is seen here in Edinburgh whilst operating service X61 (Dundee-Edinburgh). It carries the revised Stagecoach 'distance' livery introduced in 2020 as part of the companies 40th birthday celebrations.

A Roan by any other name...

"I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center."

The reddish sky brings out the best of everything… It allows us to rattle of the burning of uncertainty… But here comes the soldiers ready to face the enemies, the battle begins, the blood spread out. It was the bloodiest battle… The quiet water no longer echo the sound of cannon fire or screams of death… But perhaps we can imagine soldiers struggling along what was once a cotton field, picking the harvest’s remains to stuff in their ears so that the din of battle might somehow seem more distant. For many, the quiet came too soon. And foregone, the bluish sky was turned out into bloody reality…

To what do I owe these thoughts that possess me, these hands that possess me, everything that wouldn't allow me to leave....To what do I owe this fear...

Many many many thanks to the model and my very talented friend who made the dress for an amazing set yesterday! Even though the shoot lasted 3 hours Vanessa's sense of adventure endured in the face of bush, heat, dust, unstable floorboards, a snake, requests to run around, climb onto dilapidated shelves and even pose in an overgrown abandoned basket! I came to set with concepts and left the set inspired!

"You can do it,

Don't break, you'll pull through it..."

I have several concepts whirling around in my head and sometimes not being able to do them can be as crippling as not having any concepts or inspiration to work on shots at all. I could get bogged down by this feeling and end up in a rut, the feeling is similar with too many opinions or comments on the process of my work and that's when I take a step back to assess how I'm feeling, retreat into the mood and it truly becomes about my connection with the shot. How I ultimately feel about an image. This shot was a construct of my mental state today and taking the shot helped me deal with it. Helped me out of it.
