Here in SWFL were dealing with a major problem, our water is dying. Our ecosystem is being polluted and people are getting extremely sick, and our marine life is dying. We came together as a community to pretest this horrible disaster, and try to wake people up to what is happening. We marched around Fort Myers Beach to make everyone see what is happening is real and won't stop unless we do something about it. It was such an amazing experience, and really made a difference. Today I hear that local businesses on the beach are looking into doing anything and everything they can do to help the cause.

Which Southwest Florida restaurant has the best fish tacos? Well, I'm on the quest to find them! I'm participating in the inaugural Fish Taco Frenzy Competition hosted by Coastal Locals and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association's Southwest Florida Chapter to taste our way through Southwest Florida to find the best tacos from the sea.

The contest runs June 1- 30, 2017, and first, second and third place will be announced in July 2017.
