Picked this Boba at SWCO and did a little fig barf with him. Let me know what you think. I am currently working on another SW scene that should be up soon.
AMAZING things happened in 2017, and I achieved various personal goals, but this was definitely the year of change for me. #HappyNewYear guys. HERE WE GO 2018.
Amazing things have happened in 2017, and I achieved various personal goals, but this was definitely the year of change for me. YouTube's new policies rocked me right out of my comfort zone, and forced me to go my own way throughout the year.
I lost 60lbs, learned to drive, made a solid academic breakthrough, and I got to see/meet the people who indirectly changed my life at SWCO. Seriously, seeing George Lucas and Harrison Ford in person, watching John Williams conduct right in front of us, and then meeting Hayden Christensen, Mark Hamill, Temuera Morrison, along with Dave Filoni at SWCO were major bucket list moments for me. All of my best friends were with me the entire time too!
Like I said, YouTube's new policies forced me out of my comfort zone when suddenly everything I've been doing over the years became unsustainable. So, I made half as many figures as I normally used to, but I'm pretty damn proud of the majority of them. GOTG Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Defenders, & Thor Ragnarok are definitely some major highlights. Wasn't able to pack in Justice League & The Last Jedi, but that's okay because I'm gonna blow your mind with Avengers: Infinity War ;)
Thank you for everything, your support means the world to me.
2018 is gonna be a crazy year, and I have a lot planned that I'm working on. Let's make the most of it guys!
-MGF Customs/Reviews 2017
I was reminded to post this after I saw a bunch of others doing it yesterday, so here's all the stuff I got at BFVA this year.
Don't want to get into too much detail, but I got a bunch of CAC and BrickArms, some parts for figs, JerdFigs' Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazan as well as a collab Yoda, MooseMan's Starscream, a new sigfig head by God himself Billy, a new Groot head painted by once again me, Dylan, Ross, and Andy, a SWCO pin from Tim, the Vader set, a personalized card from ya boi ReconBrix, and the other usual BFVA stuff like badge bricks, pins, bingo parts, and the printed tiles (this year I got ELO and G1 Starscream).
I also got a Revenge of the Fallen Sideswipe fig from Shane the day before the con, but I forgot to put that in the photo.
BFVA seemed less energetic this year for some reason, but I feel like I made the best of it and it was great to see everyone once again!
This truly was an opportunity of a lifetime for my friends and I. It was such a blessing that we got to go in the first place, but none of us thought we were gonna be able to pull off as much as we did while we were there.
Working on the Guardians, not sure if I can make it by release, but they're coming!
