so, i know i've been talking non stop about "the confrence" and "the surgery."
They are kinda linked in my head since i'm having the surgery when i'm having it because i planned AROUND the conference. The conference. The conference.
It Is a lot of work. It is three really long days. It is like 16 hours a day where the staff has to be "on" all the time.
But, it is also exciting - 1300 staff and instructors all together, all with the same conviction and comittment.
And you know what lse it is a lot of? SWAG, baby!!
i got a Kumon cloth shopping bag, this leather folder/organizer, this NYC conference metal thingy, this awesome, awesome coffee mug, this gel-roller pen with our conference info on it and 3 others in other colors, a luggage tag i'm not smart enough to figure out, a business card wallet, and . . . NYC 2010 M&Ms! Woot!
Plussss, look at this sexay lanyard/nametag. Ohhh yeaaahh.
Lookit the cool swag we got from our friends Down Under - Winston, Hamley, Miss Justine and the rest a the gang!! You guys are da bomb! Timmy, of course, had claimed the boomerang for his weapons arsenal...which really scares us!!
We also got some goodies from Alex and the rest a the Bunnyville Gang, a Easter card from Moo, Morris, Bill & unclecle kevin and a super cool card from the Fairy Godmother & the new puppy Duke.

Birmingham is one of 59 stops on the Microsoft Launch Tour... They stopped by and hosted a capacity-exceeding crowd at the BJCC today.
Is the extra roll of toilet paper and the extra box of tissues SWAG? Are you allowed to take them from the hotel?
