A Smith & Wesson Model 19 revolver in .357 Magnum. This one has a bright nickel finish; the stainless version is called a Model 66. The 19 is built on the "K" frame, which was originally designed for the rather mild .38 S&W cartridge. Firing full-house .357 Magnum cartridges in this gun is quite the experience.
Late C18 with stucco facade facing the High Street. Moulded-brick eves cornice on Lancaster Road return. Detracting extractor vent, aerials and ground-level decor. Grade II listed. Wimbledon Village, London Borough of Merton.
A really lovely pub between South Wimbledon and Colliers Wood station, with two fireplaces, dartboards, big wooden tables, good ale. Good for the ale drinkers. (View of interior.)
