Originally built in 1950 for Preston Corporation as an all-Leyland PD2/10 L27/26R fleet no. 5 (ECK510)

In 1960 the Transport Department took it to pieces and put it together again as a Leyland/Preston PD3/6 H38/32F, still fleet no. 5 but re-registered NCK757.

I just love looking at the sky, I'm always amazed how it always looks so different

I'd considered using a better shot of this parked up in Interchange, but I decided against it, as I thought this shot was a bit more interesting. Well, unfortunately, a van got in the way, but that's part of the 'fun' of not expecting which way the replacement buses are coming from. This time, I moved up towards the Park Street Bridge to catch a coach in perfect sun I was anticipating was coming out imminently. Before that, though, here came Sherwood Travel with their mystery (since solved) Mercedes! Definitely the smallest one of the lot this Sunday! But there certainly was smaller yesterday...

Making a sudden appearance blocked by a prevailing van, Sherwood Travel's mysterious and possibly new SW11 NMM, a 2011 Mercedes-Benz Vario Plaxton Cheetah, crosses the Park Street Bridge before turning right to drop off its small loading for Hull Interchange on rail replacement work.

I was browsing ffffound and saw this... a poster I did last year. I ended up screening it, the pink is neon. If I can take a decent photo of it I'll replace this image.
