Social distancing is not enough...

Photo made by Yashica Matt 6x6 analogue B&W around 1976.

Negative scanned and processed in Lightroom.

A definite turn in the series in favour of full artistic abandon. The theme of the series remains, but an unforeseen result of play in the medium ( mirroring ) created a base image that I couldn't resist developing.

Here the image takes on a totemic or fantastic aspect. The flight of imagination in the midst of hundreds ... perhaps thousands. The Surrealism of the universal human experience.

Composite of two images: Bryant Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Originally shot June 16 & 18, 2019.

I had a lovely week in Cornwall last week although the weather was bitterly cold and very cloudy. I thought I would do some long exposures to get a surreal feel. This shot was taken at Porthreath harbour after a day of torrential rain. We were lucky to get a dry evening so made the most of it!
