As a kid I loved this oversized comic (and Superman vs Muhammed Ali) so, as this is my 1000 photo posted, it seems somewhat appropriate that I create a re-creation of a comic that was instrumental in creating me.... How's that for a creative run on sentence?

If I closed my eyes I felt like Superman, flying around the world with the wind in my hair.
Damo and I left the rest of the group to do the classic Cradle Mountain boat shed while we trekked up to Marion's Peak to capture one of the most amazing sunsets, you really can't ask for anymore than this. We waited around until it got dark and stumbled back down the mountain, only our head laps and the full moon to illuminate our path.

Revisiting some old photos. Had the privileged to visit this place back in 2014 . Just a pity that certain people seem to spoil things for the rest of us and now this place is no longer accessible.

I was invited to the #NoshsHoodChallenge and lined a shoot in my fav lingerie, helped myself to a glass of wine from Nosh's secret reserve... (shhh dont tell her) and just as I snapped the photo who should give me the fright of my life? Superman...
Anyhow... Here are the details for anyone tagged or interested in taking part in the challange here are the rules from Nosh herself;
Rules and details:
1) I (Noshinima Midas) tag 50 names of great photographers on Second Life. Said photographers that choose to participate in the challenge can come over to my parcel, Noshinima's Neighborhood (link below) and do an image anywhere in my penthouse. You will be allowed two hours to use any posestands or props that you would like to add and are allowed to bring any friends you want to join you in your shoot. You are also allowed to make the shoot as safe or as adult as you like. The only rule is that you do the shoot within my penthouse. Take your time to have a look around to see where in the house would make a great place for your image.
2) Upload the finished image onto Flickr and place the hashtag #NoshsHoodChallenge on either the title or the description.
3) From there, tag 10 of your friends names (no more, no less) of people that you would also like to see do this challenge that has not yet been tagged by me on this post. Link them to this post and explain the rules to them as well. They must also tag 10 of their friends that they would like to see do this challenge if they themselves choose to participate as well.

Caldwell 44, The Superman Galaxy
Galaxy season ended back in June but interesting star cities can still be seen at this time of year.
I’ve always wanted to try for C44 but there’s a catch. It’s much farther than most galaxies. Our closest neighbors, Andromeda and Triangulum are both about 2.5 million light years away. Bode’s galaxy is 12 million, Pinwheel 21 and the Whirlpool Galaxy is 31 million light years distant. Superman, by comparison, is a whopping 110 million light years from us and it's moving away faster than a speeding bullet!
To capture it, I paired the Celestron 8” (reduced to f7) and the QHY Minicam8 with its tiny pixels. This combo netted an image scale of just .42 arcseconds per pixel.
It took four very damp nights to capture the data for this picture.
I saw this cool painting on a housewall in Wittenberg.

I just got the JL batsuit in the middle in a BL order, so it seemed appropriate to use the Snyder hype to get some views.
Left to right:

I'm surprise Superman didn't say anything about my Guild shirt. His costume was awesome. And look at that chest action! The curl in his hair! Totally Superman. I felt a little odd putting my hand around his back like he did with me. teehee!
A grotesque imitation of Superman fashioned out of lifeless matter. Clad in an invulnerable costume just like Superman's and endowed with all of his mighty super-powers, Bizarro possesses a dim copy of Superman's super-keen mind.
His flesh is white, the color of chalk, and his face appears faceted, as though it had been chiseled out of rock. His black hair is matted and unkempt. He is well-meaning but witless, super-powerful but pathetic. His speech is illiterate and ungrammatical. Because Bizarro's mind is an imperfect imitation of Superman's, however, he is capable of flights of occasional super-genius. Because he possesses dim duplicate memories of all that Superman knows, he is well aware that Clark Kent is secretly Superman.
Unlike Superman, Bizarro is immune to green kryptonite, but like all Bizarro creatures, he is vulnerable to blue kryptonite.
Brought into being by an ingenious duplicator ray built by Lex Luthor, the renegade scientist who is Superman's bitterest enemy, Bizarro is only lifeless matter in human form - a thing composed of unliving matter. "Me not human... me not creature," moans Bizarro pathetically in July 1959, "... me not even animal!"
Last night I took a trip out to Ogden Point here in Victoria, essentially it's the break water for the Victoria inner harbour. I always think the giant rocks that break the water remind me of the island that Superman was on. I was fortunate enough to have my ol' friend @myransphoto visiting and we went out and shot a few pics together. Had a great time!
