This sunrise was so red the only editing i had to do was a slight touch on Brightness/Contrast. Its a view from Salford with St Bonniefaces Church on the left, and the C.I.S. building in Manchester in the distance.
It was also an extremely cold morning and you can see the heat haze coming of the roofs of the houses in the foreground in my street.
The sunrise changes so quickly. Sometimes it looks completely different in the minute it takes me to grab the camera. All of these were taken on the same morning.
A windy Morning in Kaikoura the waves breaking and blowing the water over the tops.

Another morning at my favorite sunrise location.....Deering Estate Pier. Not a lot of color and the wind put a chop on the water which erased the normal mirror like effect of the bay. Even a "ho-hum" sunrise is still medicine for the soul. My fav of the day.

I got up really early to get this shot. It was one of my first attempts to capture the beauty of a sunrise. I was not that happy with the mist but in the end it gave the shot something extra!

There were just a few minutes of nice light this morning. All I could find to photograph was the color of sunrise over the marsh.
The last day I was in Okinawa, I woke up extremely early to catch the sunrise. After all, it’s not everyday I get to see a sunrise over in Okinawa. ^^.
We got to the beach at about 5am and waited in the dark.

Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the word
Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where his feet pass
Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day.
