Where do I begin

To tell the story of how great a love can be

The sweet love story that is older than the sea

The simple truth about the love she brings to me

Where do I start

With her first hello

She gave new meaning to this empty world of mine

There'd never be another love, another time

She came into my life and made the living fine

She fills my heart

She fills my heart with very special things

With angels' songs, with wild imaginings

She fills my soul with so much love

That anywhere I go I'm never lonely

With her around, who could be lonely

I reach for her hand, it's always there

How long does it last

Can love be measured by the hours in a day

I have no answers now but this much I can say

I know I'll need her 'til the stars all burn away

And she'll be there

How long does it last

Can love be measured by the hours in a day

I have no answers now but this much I can say

I know I'll need her 'til the stars all burn away

And she'll be there

So often across Chicago you can just stop a moment and take in the pulse of the city and find moments presenting themselves.

Side note: Haddock Place is one of those named alleys in the loop. If it ends in Pl(ace) then its not really a street. Like if someone gives you directions to meet them at 155 W Couch Place - they are messing with you.

This old vehicle was abandoned along a washed out road above the Kit Fox Hills in Death Valley. It had a long way to go to get to the next town. I wonder what happened to the owner.

Photo from a book. The life of Jesus of Nazareth portrayed in colours by William Hole. It was given to me by my godmother for my 1st Christmas in 1939.

My best wishes to all flickr members for sharing their beautiful photos especially to my flickr friends for their friendship, comments and favours. My special thoughts to those experiencing major troubles or sorrows.

Anita and I were driving along a little country road, just enjoying the day when I spotted a cat in running / creeping mode and I said watch out for that cat Anita (she was driving as usual). The cat kept coming and then Anita said, there's one in the road already...... My eyes swiveled back to the road and noted what I thought was a calico colored cat sitting in the road and then back to the other cat. By the time my eyes swiveled back again the one in the road was up and flying! Of course then I realized it was a hawk and up came the camera! We approached very slowly and he flew up onto this branch his peaceful afternoon lunch interrupted by a cat and two crazy humans. Never did see what happened to the cat who thought He was going to have a nice Hawk for lunch! After several miles the road we were on petered out to a dead end and when we returned, the 'possum was still there but both the hawk and the cat had gone their separate ways.
