of course any bike I ride needs a swanky swank fillet brazed stem.

The STEM Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held Thursday, Jan. 29.

These students from Kashmere, North Early College, and Wheatley High Schools worked in cooperative groups to solve a real world problem. Each group of 3 to 4 students posed as an engineering firm that would submit a robotics solution to a geophysics problem. Teams used the LEGO Mindstorm NXT robot to design a vehicle that could climb to the top of a Mountain to retrieve rocks that stored energy. Their vehicle should be able to climb the mountain and continue its motion as the slope of the mountain increased. The team whose robot climbed the highest would win the bid with my company.

This went up as I was posting about the new Eighthinch products earlier but is definitely worth the post. If you pick out a stem, bar and grip combo in the Eighthinch store right now you can save some green and get you whole steering setup on lock.

Sunny bright afternoon when I saw a flock of Rosy Starlings chirping on a nearby tree & as soon as I got closer to have their look, I heard a loud rattling-whinnying call & found this beautiful woodpecker banging himself on this stem.. :))

It’s a state-of-the-art experience that takes science, technology, engineering and mathematics out of the classroom and into the real world – and in two years, the STEM Central facility at CQUniversity Gladstone Marina has attracted visitors from across the community.

The Australia Pacific LNG STEM Central hub first opened in August 2018, and Project Lead Dr Linda Pfeiffer said it’s inspired thousands of science enthusiasts in the two years since.

To celebrate the anniversary, on Tuesday 11 August STEM Central leaders from CQUniversity, APLNG and ConocoPhillips shared a birthday cake with local Year 2 students, before exploring a range of activities ahead of National Science Week (15-23 August 2020).
