Strobist info: 1 SB800 camera left shot thru a white sheet (a mukena, actually) (M 1/4, radio triggers).
I promise I will take some photos smiling.....lol
I just keep going for the "searing through your soul" eyes and serious look....well, there is a hint of a smile. It's faint.....but it is there.
This young Blue Tit flew into the Orangery window and landed in the plant pot. Here it is taking a breather till the stars before its eyes disappeared! I am relieved to say it flew off fully recovered a short while later.

Another couple of units are dragged off to the scrap yard by "Cassiopeia". This time it was the turn of South Eastern Class 466 EMUs 466029 and 46603, heading from Gillingham Depot to Sims in Newport and seen passing through Twyford station.

Well I've had an odd few days!
Firstly our dish washer caught fire! (how something that's full of water can actually catch fire is beyond me).
Then over the weekend we had a 'small' flood (20mm of rain fell!) that's destroyed my living room floor! It's solid oak, which I laid all by myself and it took flipping ages. : (
We've just had the insurance guy in today to assess the damage and it's all got to be ripped up and trashed!...... it's not what I wanted to hear... not just before christmas!
And to slap a nice big smile back on my face I'm off to buy myself an early Christmas gift... a sigma 50mm 1.4 : D
(...Good grief my spelling's atrocious today!)

meet vashti - gorgeous model, and also a photographer. i met her once before after she emailed me to let me know she was interested in tagging along on a shoot. i met up with her at a client session a few months ago, and i loved this girl by the end of the day - i was so happy to have another chance to hang out with her today! vashti is also trying to improve her photo skills, and i love to teach so i really enjoy having the opportunity to help her out as well.
and this will not be the last appearance of that gorgeous peach dress... found it a few days ago at the thrift store. such a treasure, and it fits me like a charm!
this was inspired by my trip down south last month. partially by the fact that my boyfriends mom brought these little guys home, and they have been sitting on the kitchen table staring at me, and partially by my experiences having star fish stuck all over me as alexs mermaid. ;)
on a side note, i started this thing on my facebook where i am posting a summary of my work every month. a few days ago i added an album with my very oldest photography (pre- dslr + photoshop) and ive also added an album for march 2010 (the month i started my 365). ill be periodically updating that as i get a chance.

It’s my 10th rezday in SL now...wow I am getting old! lol I always said that I would leave and not come back once I reached 10 years. Now that its here I don’t think I can do it. lol I love my family & friends too much to leave, even those I don’t talk to as much or not at all anymore. You all have made my sl what it is today & I thank you for that, even the bad times which taught me to grow more. The ones who are always there no matter what & never giving up on me, the very few who I can trust with anything, and the ones that push me to be a better me...I couldn’t do this without you. (You know who you are) So here is to another 10 years in sl with you guys! ❤ ❤ ❤
