Tanggal 11-12 Juli 2009, Klab merajut tobucil termasuk The Men Who Knitnya tobucil & klabs, di undang ke acara Festival Merajut di Museum Bank Mandiri, Jakarta. Acara ini merupakan festival merajut pertama yang mengumpulkan komunitas rajuters dari Jabotabek + Bandung. Benang tipi (produk andalan tobucil) dan The Men Who Knit mendapat sambutan meriah dari para hadirin di acara itu. Yang berangkat ke Jkt: Upi (guru merajut), Rudy (The Man Who Knit), Dian (Guru Merenda), Nana, Moel (The Man Who Knit), Wiku (The Man Who Knit) dan Erie (The Man Who Knit). Di Jakarta, Sam Sambas (The Man Who Knit cabang Jakarta) memberikan akomodasi bagi rombongan Bandung. Terima kasih juga buat Iwenk yang memberi hiburan kolam renang untuk menyegarkan diri.. sampai di fesival berikutnya.. :)

The impressive, and rather poignant, memorial at Crich Stand in Derbyshire.
I used my kit lens for this at 18mm - you can see the barrel distortion a bit - but it's my widest angle lens and I'm actually really pleased with it.
I also had a Hama circular polarisation filter on. I really like the extra saturation in the colours. I've not post-processed this at all other than to add the border
"Stand Out In A Crowd" for week 51 (Paint the Moon project)
Different, unusual, odd, etc...is what I think of as far as standing out in a crowd. This beautiful stone stairway is very close to my home. I am intrigued with it. Every time I drive by it, I wonder...
Where did it once lead?
Who walked the steps?
How old is it?
Why is it still there?
I wished these steps could talk! Usually they are overgrown with weeds and poison. Today, I drive by and they are completely cleared and to my surprise they are decorated. Surrounded by a crowd of trees stands this beautiful stone stairway stands there and still looks beautiful.
