I have no idea what kind of moth or butterfly this is -maybe someone out there can help me. The one thing I do know is that God makes so many gorgeous little creatures and since I have become involved with Flickr - I see so many everyday. Hope all of you have a wonderful Thursday :) ! ~

Stained glass design

A window from All saints church Headley Hampshire ,UK.

76 million prizes...and stainr.

I tried to sum up the stained glass solutions I used in the past.

Left: nine Cheese, one 1x2 tile, two 1x1 Brick(or six 1x1 plates), two 1x2 plates

Middle Left: three Cheese, one 1x2 tile, one 1x2 plate

Middle right: four Cheese, one 1x1 brick (or three 1x1 plate), one 1xX plate

Right: two Cheese, one 1x1 Brick(or three 1x1 plates)

Use plates, to get an even more stained glass effect.

Of course, all the windows are slightly stressed. But it's in a takeable area, I never had any issues. Use on your own risk ;))...

This is the east window, designed by Charles Eamer Kempe. A crucifixion scene, it has the Virgin on one side and St John on the other. It was dedicated to Rev. Alexander Fownes Luttrell, rector of the parish, who died in 1888. Irritatingly out of focus is this charming row of angels at the top.

Mill No. 5 is an old textile mill built in 1873. It stood empty for years. The founder and owner, Jim Lichoulas took the old textile mill and restored it. Beautiful architectural details still remain with the 4th and 6th floor being repurposed into shops and eateries along with a movie theater and yoga studio.
