For the SSS Flickr Challenge #135 using Brushed Branches stamp from SSS

I swiped Stampin Up’s Pumpkin multicolor pad actress a watercolor panel and let it dry. I then swiped the same ink pad onto SSS Leaves Background Stamp and stamped it over the watercolor background. I cut Thankful using SSS CZ 30 days of Thankful Set. Three die cuts provided the depth I wanted. I added 2 matching 1/4 inch strips and attached the panel to the card base.

I missed SSS Flickr 134, but still had SSS Rose Bouquet stencil on my table, so used it for SSS Flickr 135 www.flickr.com/groups/simonsaysstamp/discuss/721577114970... The background is Kaleidacolor Autumn Leaves brayered onto a white panel. Transluscent embossing paste was spread over the stencil & then I added Vintage Platinum Glitter Dust. There's a close up on my blog ggnursecreations.blogspot.com/2019/10/christmas-thanksgiv... The sentiment is from SSS Thoughtful Messages. I'm also entering Flickr Love Handmade cards www.flickr.com/groups/lovehandmadecards/discuss/721577111... TFL!

I did the background using the trapped distress ink process using more red, oranges and green inks. I die cut the large leaf and a strip for the sentiment. I die cut the sentiment from cork and stamped the word with vintage photo ink. I also stamped the cork background with the SSS Leaves Background. I smudged the stamping to soften it. After cutting, the card was assembled in layers.

I was checking out Kathy Racoosin's latest 30 Day Coloring challenge and had to try out what she did on Day 1. I used Gina K Skeleton Leaves Amalgam ink on the SSS Marilyn stencil. Used just 3 Copics to color the whole thing, and decided not to add embossing paste. I added the SSS Thanks sentiment and am entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge, Grateful/Thankful.

I created this card to play along with:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge The theme is Fall/Autumn colors & Honey Bee Stamps

Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge #135 The theme is Grateful/Thankful

& TIOT Colours of Autumn

I started with a 4.25” x 5.5” 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock. I have no idea who this beautiful whimsical stencil is from but I just love it. Taped down the cardstock to the stencil from the back + I got to work with ink blending all these beautiful Distress Oxide colors: fired brick, candied @pple, wild honey, fossilized amber, spiced marmalade, peeled paint & walnut stain. Added some water droplets then spritzed the whole panel with some perfect pearls + Watertown give it sparkle. I trimmed down my panel with the 3rd rectangle from the infinity dies. I then cut 3 strips to create the band that goes across the card. One strip in Old Olive and two strips in white that I butt up against the top + bottom edges of the Old Olive strip. I then cut out a square in white + stamped the sentiment from SSS Apple of My Pie Stamp set in Versa Fine Onyx Black + heat embossed it with clear. I did a second layer of VersaMark ink + clear embossing powder to make it stand out but my stamp wasn’t quite aligned perfectly so instead it looks like a light gray shadow behind the letters + I really liked it. happy mistake! I added some foam dots to the back for added dimension + centered it on card front. Took the panel + attached it to a 4.25” x 5.5”Old Olive card base. Added some sequin for texture, sparkle + good measure + my card was complete.

“Grateful” to be playing along in the SimonSaysStamp Flickr challenge. I white embossed the SSS leaves and berries background stamp on Neenah desert storm card stock and colored with blue Copic markers. The large stitched maple was die cut from an alcohol ink panel and mounted on top of the Elegant fall blooms die. Finally embellished with the Grateful die and blue organza ribbon.

I made this card for the challenge #135 using SSS flora background and SSS dies.

Love these fall colors. I ink blended seedless preserves, wilted violet, carved pumpkin and fossilized amber on a watercolor panel. I sprayed the panel with water allowing the ink to soak in. Love the texture it created! Once completely dry, I stamped the SSS Leaves Background with Versamark and covered with clear embossing powder. Once the powder was meltedI went back over with the Sam colors. Once I sprayed it again, the inks blended into the non embossed areas!. I trimmed it and attached to a Kraft base. I embossed the sentiment using seedless preserves and attached it.
