Had fun with this tropical themed Birthday card. Used SSS Kaleidoscope Background for the letters and Centre Cut Flowers. Adding this to the current Flickr Challenge. Blogged here

Finally made something with the June SSS card kit. I always seem to be a "day late and a dollar short" when it comes to using my kits, lol! I used my ZIGs to color the image after stamping it in VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne on smooth Bristol. Added some sequins for sparkle.

I used one of my favorite stamp sets and colored the flowers using my prisma color pencils. I added gold splatter.

I love participating in #thedailymarker 30 day coloring challenge and I hadn't used this beautiful background stamp from Simon Says Stamp called Pretty Peonies. I made this a month ago, originally for the SSS Do it With Dimension challenge. I didn't have time to upload/edit the card on Flickr right when I made it, so I waited a few days until I had time--then I had some technical difficulties, then Flickr was down for a couple days. I could have uploaded it for the next challenge (Anything Goes), but time got away from me and I missed that one, too. Anyway, I figure better late than never. :)

This card features Simon Say Stamps' Painted Hello die which was popped up with black craft foam. The background is Winnie and Walter's Bed Of Rose stamp which was ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks and heat embossed with gold power. Simon Says sequins were added for a little sparkle.

Last minute entry for SSS Flickr Challenge 126 www.flickr.com/groups/simonsaysstamp/discuss/721577091902.... Stamps are SSS Sketch Ranunculus & Thoughtful Messages. Images were heat embossed in SSS Antique Gold & then colored with Zigs. I added gold embossed dots using a Quickie Glue pen instead of ink & splattered all 3 Zigs. The panel was cut into 3 pieces, backed with fun foam & glued to a purple panel. Used a vellum flag for the sentiment as I didn't want to cover up the images. Finished off with gold sequins. I used an emboss resist for the small flowers from the Spring Flowers stamp set and then used the Brush Strokes Messages rectangle with Debbie Hughes' Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours in Hansa Yellow, Pyrrol Scarlet, Quinacridone Coral, Quinacridone Rose along with painting in the flowers with more concentrated colour and then adding glitter and jewels. Sentiment is stamped with black Archival ink and the clear heat embossed. #SSSFlickrchallenge126

I had this design in my head since I saw @simonsaysstamp July card kit. I had planned to cut strips of patterned paper but there was no need. I used the paper pack's cover sheet! Then I had fun coloring those adorable little bees with Copics directly on the card base. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr challenge.

I used an emboss resist for the small flowers from the Spring Flowers stamp set and then used the Brush Strokes Messages rectangle with Debbie Hughes' Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours along with water misting and painting in the flowers with more concentrated colour.
