Created for the SSSflickrchallenge#28 emboss resist. All the items are from the SSS Oct. card kit. I stamped the heart with galaxy gold ink on one of the journaling cards and embossed with iridescent powder. I then water colored it, I really love how it turned out. I then stamped the chevron with white and embossed it on the kraft cardstock from the kit. I then added some brown watercolor around them to make them pop out. I stamped some tiny hearts in a scattered pattern.

A slightly different card from the one I made a few days ago. I’ve used the elegant roses and the partial cute leaves dies from SSS to make this bright and colourful card.
I using the beautiful paper from SSS Friendly Flowers card kit to make a shaker card and to die-cut the word die”peace” with the embossing powder in Sterling sliver
Made with love using the Delicate flowers stamp set and Mandy's flowers for the sentiment for SSSFlickrchallenge#122
Love the beautiful Mint Wishes kit!! Made this card with supplies from the kit along with some A Jillian Vance Design snowflakes. Adding this to the current SSS flickr challenge.
Well, I finally got some time to do some coloring. I've seen so many fun projects colored on Kraft, so I finally decided to give it a whirl. The combined the SSSFlickrChallenge#49 and the 2nd Day Challenge at MFT Summer Camp. All about coloring! I stamped the sweet little PI girl and the cardinal from "Season's Tweetings" and colored it with colored pencils. I used the MFT stitched snowdrift die to create a snowbank. It looked way to bright and stark when I used white cardstock, so I did it out of the same Neenah Desert Storm and covered it with Picket Fence Distress Stain. She was looking a little lonely, so I added some pine trees. I used Unicorn White pigment ink with the SSS Falling Snow stencil to finish it off.
The SSS Wednesday Challenge is about Creating a scene, so I'm also entering over there.
SSS Products Used: Falling Snow Stencil
MFT Products Used: Pure Innocence Season's Tweetings, Stitched snowbank die.
For the Simon Says Stamp challenge here on Flickr. Using the colours from the inspiration pic. All dies and stamps from SSS Flower Friend sets. Added some detail with an embossing folder and the sequins

I mixed the "Love" challenge over at the Ton (thetonchallenge.wordpress.com/) with the SSSFlickrchallenge (Anything Goes) for this card. I love these layered peonies. I tried something a little different by doing the most detailed layer in Versamark and then embossing with a colored embossing powder. Adds some dimension and sparkler. It's hard to see, but i also did a clear layer of embossing powder of the soft pool glass bowl since I figured glass should be shiny.
I wanted to keep the sentiment pretty simple, so I pulled out this great word die from SSS. I love the handwritten look. I stacked 3 layers of the die to pop it up a bit. Used SSS grays for a square card base.
And the SSS Wednesday Challenge this week is all about florals, so I'm also entering over there.
The Ton products: Fresh Cut Peonies
Simon Says Stamp Products: Painted Hugs Die; Smoke and Fog cardstock
This card idea has been bouncing around in my brain for quite sometime. This is one of my favorite SSS stamp sets. I really love that the large U jumps off the card. The sparkly splatters are done with a Michael's brand of crystal glitter paint that dries clear. I just splattered all over the card front. All stamps and dies are from Simon Says Stamps.
Made this card for the SSS flickr challenge #66. All Stamps from SSS, cardstock and patterned papers from the SSS Feb 2017 card kit.
Happy 100th Challenge to the SSSFlickrChallenge. I always forget about Perfect Pearls... and then Jennifer McGuire does a video and I go crazy for a little while with it :) I used SSS Spring Flowers to stamp in Versamark on the navy paper, and then brushed on some Perfect Pearls. I stamped a couple of the floral images on vellum and embossed with Silver EP. I finished it off with a simple sentiment from SSS Beautiful Day stamp set.
The SSS Monday Challenge is "Red, White and/or Blue." This isn't particularly patriotic, but it does have Blue and White, so I'm linking there. The SSS Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes, so I'm also linking there.
Worked with the brand new flora background set from SSSand watercoloured using distress inks and distress oxides
The wreath is a Simon Says Stamp stamp and die. The background is created with a stencil and some Distress Stains. The pumpkins are My Favorite Things Stamps and die.
It's officially here! I'm posting this card about the actual time of the vernal equinox in my time zone, aka Spring has sprung in the northern hemisphere. I made a stencil out of @simonsaysstamp Folk Dance die, applied ink through it, then Versamark, and clear heat embossed. I then applied Distress Oxide ink in Wilted Violet over the whole panel, wiped it off the embossing, then sprayed some water. Voilà. Cheery spring! Stamp from Tiny Words and die from Four Seasons. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr challenge.

Two cards that I made using the new Christmas Wishes stamp set from the Simon Says Stamp Fun and Festive release that is now available! On the top card I used an image from a Simon Say Stamp set that was part of a card kit from last year and then over stamped the sentiment. The trees are a SSS die. On the second card I heat embossed the sentiment in gold on vellum.
Popped up the trees on the top card so I will add it to the SSS flickr challenge. You can kind the Fun and Festive release here:

I'm entering my card in the SSS #25 challenge. For this project I used the SSS Geo Tag stamp & die, aswell as the Life's Journey Stamp Set :)
I did some no-line coloring (I'm not that good at it, so I picked a simple image) using Polychromos pencils on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. Stamps, little hearts and patterned paper from @simonsaysstamp August 2018 card kit. Border die by @crafterscompus, @tonicstudiosusa Nuvo drops in white. Have a great weekend!

This card was so fun to make using MFTstamps new hands dies and the brilliantCongratulations die from Simon Says Stamp!
I made this one to add to the SSS Flickr group challenge #98. Isha, challenges us to use embossing on our card. For my embossing I used the "Butterflies" stencil from SSS and modeling paste.

Aside from card making, I love to use my scraps to make tags and other keepsakes. For these tags, I used the clipped heart die, the tiny spaced hearts stencil and the blossom field 3D folder - all from #simonsaysstamp

For OCC Merry Making class Day 1. This is Kristina's card as close to exactly as I could get.....LOL! I used SSS Cute Snowflakes and the Christmas sentiment is from SSS Home for the Holidays!
Something new for @simonsaysstamp challenges (all 3 of them). I received this cute Xmas mouse as a freebie with my Black Friday Simon order, but didn't have time to color him during the holidays, so a bit of masking turned his Santa hat into a woolen hat and voilà, Winter/Valentine mouse. This is the first of two cards. Colored with Copics.

I got a little crazy... This is card 1 out of 3.
I used SSS Medium Dot Line Wafer Die and SSS - Big Birthday wishes. This card is also for the sssflickrchallenge#22
I'm sharing with: Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #69 - I used SSS Abstract Triangles Stamp.
Simon Says Stamp Monday: Splash It On.
Happy Little Stampers: Anything Goes w/Dies - Verve Stamps Die.
Another card for the current SSS flickr challenge. When I made the first card using the Beautiful Flowers set I stamped and cut this set of flowers because I wasn't sure if I wanted to use the other set. Obviously I ended up going with the other set. I stamped the SSS Center Cut Geometric Pattern stamp with SSS Barely Beige ink and the sentiment with VersaFine CLAIR Morning Mist. The leaves are from the SSS stamp set Handwritten Floral Greetings.
Going to add this to the SSS Wednesday challenge of anything goes, too.

Adding this to the June Work It Wednesday, as well.

Used Sketched Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Used watercolor brushes to color in the image.
I spent a great deal of time fussy cutting those stamped leaves! I don't mind fussy cutting my stamped images, but I am definitely in the market for a set of small die cut leaves now. For this card I used an older Cocoa Daisy kit company leaf stamp, Distress Ink, Perfect Pearls Mist, and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Thanks and Leaves stamp set (SSS101894). Full card details can be found on my blog at: wemartins.blogspot.com/2019/09/fussy-cut-distress.html
Thanks for stopping to look!

I was so eager to reveal this card, which will undoubtedly be in my top 12 for 2020 that I would reveal to you at the end of the year! For this card used a technique that I love, do you know which one? I must tell you that I had an idea in mind, but I was not sure if I could get the result I wanted! To the point that at the start I have to admit that without the coloring, everything seemed bland and I almost throw it away! The advantage of this card is that you can really use the technique with a ton of color combinations to make a bunch of different versions and that's what I like! So, what do you think ? ⠀
