Simon Says Stamp

I created this card for Day 1 of the Online Card Classes Background Check. I used a technique that has quickly become one of my favorites - Ink blending and using a stencil and baby wipe to "bleach" the ink away. So much fun! I'm adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 24. Simon products used are Sending die, Best Fishes Stamp set, and Waves stencil.

Embossed in Platinum and coloured with Copics : W1, W3, W5.

Made this Anniversary card using the Painted flowers stamps from Altenew embossing in gold. The Stitched Square die and the sentiment are both from Simon Says so am adding this to the current Flickr Challenge. Also Blogged here

Finally had a chance to play in the SSSflickrchallenge#66. I saw Nichol Spohr's video on her blog (nicholmagouirk.typepad.com) the other day and had to case her technique and card. I love the SSS Artful Flowers set and I pretty much love every card Nichol makes. :)

my card for the current SSS flickr challenge of anything goes. I used the SSS set Artful Flowers and the matching dies for the flowers and the sentiment came from the SSS set sparkle & shine. I die cut the flowers and then colored them with Ranger Distress Oxide ink in worn lipstick. Sprinkled on some water and then stamped the outline flower images from the set using regular Ranger worn lipstick distress ink. The leaves and stems were die cut and then inked with Ranger Distress Oxide ink in peeled paint and sprinkled with water. I inked up a piece of woodgrain cardstock with Ranger Distress Oxide ink in broken china and then sprinkled with water. sentiment was stamped in watermark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Adding this to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of a touch of pink.

Day 10 over at Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas was another sketch. Plus, lots of Lawn Fawn! So I pulled out the Ready, Set, Snow set from Lawn Fawn for this card. I used the sentiment from Toboggan Together and embossed it in white.

I used 2 of my standby Simon Says Stamp Dies for this - the Large Tags Die, and the Stitched Circle. Two sets I reach for all the time. The theme for SSSFlickrChallenge#34 this time is die cutting as we wrap up Die-Cember. So I'm also entering over there.

And finally, the Lawnscaping Challenge this round is "Tag It," so I'm also entering there.

My daughter asked me to make a Birthday card for a friend so we decided on a modern look shaker card. The stamps are Altenew and the Dies are the stitched squares from Simon Says and sentiment is Hero Arts. This is for the "Anything Goes " challenge at SS Flickr Group

I made my card for the SSS Flickr challenge which is to use watercoloring. Stamped and embossed the Floral Bliss flowers in black and then used my Kuretake watercolors. Trimmed it down, added the sentiment and a few Nuvo drops.

Made another card using the SSS "Artful Flowers" coloured to look like Primroses. Layered them up on a lattice die. Adding this to the Flickr group challenge. More details on my blog

I love this stamp set from SSS. It's totally one of my favs.

Got the SSS December card kit and made Christmas cards for my great niece and great nephew. This one is for my great nephew Max. I used the Action Wobbles that came in the kit so the center gnome (Max) moves. The other two gnomes are his mom and dad! Adding this to the SSS flickr challenge, as well as the SSS Wednesday challenge.
