Hello, everyone. Approaching of the New Year motivates me to the changes, which are unavoidable . I decided to myself that changes are necessary and I want to make more simple cards. That's why making maximum simple is something new for me, the 87 challenge on flickr of @simonsaysstamp motivates me for that. It called accordingly - "Something New". I decided to use nonstandart pallet for me, nonstandard composition and minimum of details - shortly, that's really something new for me and I'm very happy with such a cute result 😊. / Всем привет. Hi, all! I'm sharing a card I made for @simonsaysstamp Flickr and Monday challenges (theme: stencil it). I used @tonicstudios Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Silver Gem through Simon's Oval of Flowers stencil, then surrounded it with flowers from Everything Together stamp set and Heart die, also from Simon.

This is for the Simon Says Stamp and Flickr challenge #5. The SSS exclusive Holy Couple die set and exclusive Nativity stamp set was stamped, die cut, then the back wall was dry embossed with a wood grain. The card has a watercolor background.

This card is entered in the Simon Says Stamp's Flickr Challenge 26 (SSSflickrchallenge#26) "Play with Pastels" (www.flickr.com/groups/simonsaysstamp/) and uses the Simon Says Work Out stamp set.

I colored the girl with copic markers and entered Challenge 76 "Anything Goes" at MarkerPop! (blog.markerpop.com/).

I also used Ellen Hutson's Bokeh Dots stamp set and entered Ellen Hutson's August Pin-Sights Challenge (ellenhutson.typepad.com/the_classroom_new/).

I like making cards for every season, even winter, my least favorite (and I figured I'd have some fun with the GOT reference😉). For this tone on tone card I used patterned paper from a past SSS card kit, and embellished it with cute snowflakes. Tip: using a strip of parchment vellum is a good way to keep your sentiment die cut from getting lost in a busy background. Snowflake dies from @iostamps, winter die and sentiment from @simonsaysstamp. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr challenge. Have a great weekend!

The stamp set and dies are "Koalaty Time" from a Stamptember exclusive between Sugar Pea Designs and Simon Says Stamp. I used Tim Holtz's Distress Inks to watercolor on Ranger watercolor paper. I die cut three additional pieces and glued them together for added dimension. The one khaki heart and three stacked white hearts were cut using two SSS Nested Hearts that I taped together. This is for the "Water Coloring" SSSFlickrChallenge#88.

i used heidi swapp colorshine on the swirls and dots stencil. also have the snow from lots of snow stamps embossed. for the sentiment i used the peace on earth stamp set also embossed by the bottom of the card.
