For the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge :)

Another card made using the Etched Snowflake background stamp. This time I stamped and heat embossed the background in silver and then inked the edges with Broken China distress oxide ink. The SSS Marie Snowflake was die cut from silver cardstock and adhered. I added the sentiment embossed in silver on vellum to the center.

A card made stamping on wood veneer paper. This stamp set is the Concord & 9th. Stamptember collaboration.

I have tonsillitis so no card making this week :0( This I made last week and didn't get to post before I got sick. Made using SSS "Kaleidoscope Background."

I used Simon says stamp BIRTHDAY BITS with colored pencil.

Spring Flowers, Lovely Spring and Leaves Stencil. Colored the flowers with Distress Inks.

Ever had a card that just won't come together, even if it's not a complicated design? This one went through several changes, but I've learned to not give up and keep at it, and I'm happy with the final result. I made this card for the #simonsaysstamp Flickr challenge. The theme is black and white with a splash of color. All products are from Simon except the Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. Colored with Copics.

Stamp sets: Coffee and Tea (tea cup, tea bag and sentiment); Flip Flop Season (border stamped repeatedly for background). Accent hearts cut with Outline Hearts die set.

Simon Says Stamp's latest Flickr challenge found HERE, asks us to use stencils on our cards. I used the Diagonal Stripe stencil to create the stripes on my card. The flowers are great fun to color!

I used the super cute SSS set happy days. the pinked edge die cut is also from SSS. did some old-fashioned paper piecing with some of the cute papers from the SSS march card kit. will also be adding this to the SSS Wednesday challenge: flowers.

I was able to ink up the last dog from this set and I think I can still make it in time for the challenge. Woo Hoo! Our youngest just spent the weekend with her little cousins and they played in the leaves - that was my inspiration for this. The bg was inked with Distress Ink; the leaves were colored on the edges with Copic markers. TFL!

I created this card for the SSS Flickrchallenge #92. Rainbow paper created with Hero Arts neon ombre pads. Birthday wishes frame from SSS, puppy stamp from SSS, Balloons from Lawn Fawn and background stamp from MFT.

My first attempt at messy watercoloring. I used water-based markers on Yupo paper, then added some details with Polychromos pencils to the Sketched Flowers stamp by @simonsaysstamp. Need more practice! Swipe to see the image without pencil work.
