Presenting "A Dynamic World Demands Dynamic SQL"
Dynamic SQL is a misunderstood and much maligned part of a DBA’s tool kit – it can be used to solve difficult business problems, respond to diverse data needs, and alleviate performance problems. Many DBAs reject dynamic SQL outright as a potential source of SQL injections, being poorly performing, or just for being a hacky solution in general. Not so! Jeremiah Peschka has been making extensive use of dynamic SQL throughout his career to solve a variety of problems. He’ll set about dispelling these misconceptions and demonstrate how dynamic SQL can become a part of every DBA’s tool kit.
Jeremiah Peschka is a SQL Server developer and DBA in the Columbus, OH area with Cass Information Systems. He is a SQL Server MVP, user group leader, and PASS Director at Large. Jeremiah has a passion for spreading knowledge and writing about himself in the third person. When not using a computer, Jeremiah can be found playing guitar, reading, writing, wandering around central Ohio, or speaking at various SQL Server events.

I think she looks like she stepped out of an animated version of The Matrix, but this is... SQL Girl! The SQL Server 2008 people were giving out SQL Girl at TechEd 2009 in Los Angeles. She arrived in a box (from which she was removed solely for this photo and then to which she was immediately returned) which says on the back: "Join SQL Girl on all her adventures! Collect them at www.ISVinnovation.com"; Unfortunately, if you go to the site today, there are no adventures to collect...If you check out the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, you can see the site as it existed on February 7, 2009. The site proclaims itself as "ISV Innovation, the home of Microsoft U.S. ISV Training." ..
