Scania S 500 von D Sped Transport d.o.o. aus Duga Resa auf der A3 Regensburg - Passau bei Schwarzach transportiert einen Knickgelenkten Kipper Volvo A30G.
Sped up to the lake for a quick test of the new lens before work. Glad I had the VR because I was shaking from the cold!
Later ... EXIF data shows I was paying more attention to the cold than the lens! Really rotten settings for a test! Damn! Well, there's always Sunday. One should not do a test in a snow storm anyway: But I couldn't wait!

06/20/09: I woke up thinking it was 8 am when my clock was wrong and it was really 2 pm. Everything has seemed either sped up or slowed down all day. I feel like crying and I feel like laughing. It's a very, very bipolar day.

Vanwege werkzaamheden bij Wolfheze reden in het weekend van 4 en 5 juli de ICE's en Nightjet om via de Betuweroute. Voor dat de Nightjet werd vastgelegd werd eerst nog gewacht op de ICE richting 020. Gelukkig scheen de zon niet toen de 8026 als ICE124 naar Amsterdam op 5 juli 2026 werd vastgelegd ter hoogte van de Heinz-fabriek in Elst, waar het spoor links enkele jaren geleden voor veel geld werd aangelegd en inmiddels al weer een tijd niet meer gebruikt word. Gelukkig was het maar gewoon belastinggeld wat Profail hiermee weer eens door het toilet spoelt. TIP voor de saneerafdeling: hier kan een wissel weg, ipv wel nuttige wissels verwijderen lijkt dit een goede optie...
Lijkt mij overigens ook een goed idee om de kosten te verhalen op de nitwit van een bestuurder die dit volkomen kansloze idee er door geduwd heeft.

SPEDIRE UNA CARTOLINA E' D'OBBLIGO.
Venezia, in quanto città d’arte unica al mondo, è destinataria di una domanda di turismo sempre crescente, e qualunque persona al mondo, compatibilmente con le proprie possibilità economiche, vorrebbe visitarla.
La media giornaliera annua di turisti è di 30.000 persone, con picchi di 200.000, quando la capacità di carico ipotetica è stata valutata in circa 25.000 turisti al giorno: questo pone dei problemi della gestione dei flussi per la ricerca di soluzioni per diminuire l’impatto sulla città e sui residenti.
L’assetto urbano è fin troppo funzionale al mercato turistico (molti sono i cambi d’uso per realizzare alberghi, pensioni, negozi di maschere etc.) e vi è una generale tendenza alla banalizzazione dell’offerta turistica senza che ciò aiuti, in un ottica di salvaguardia della città, a risolvere anche finanziariamente gli enormi costi di manutenzione urbana della città e a creare occasioni stabili di lavoro e di reddito per gli abitanti. Perché Venezia oltre ad essere bella è una città coi suoi abitanti, le sue tradizioni, i suoi ritmi di vita, la sua produzione culturale ancora viva.

A somewhat abstract shot, taken as my metro train sped along through the underground tunnels of the Copenhagen Metro.
Transitano spediti lungo la DD Firenze - Roma questi due complessi di ETR400 FrecciaRossa1000 mentre svolgono un FR Napoli Centrale . Milano Centrale correndo lungo la vallata sotto la splendida cittadina di Orvieto, qui ritratta dalla Fortezza Albornoz. In basso la Linea Lenta e la relativa stazione sembrano osservare il transito lungo la più moderna Direttissima.
