"This abandoned automatic, right-hand drive 504 Convertible has been garage stored since 2009. It is running and driving but offered as a straightforward recommissioning project. Much work has been completed but some additional work to trim and paint is required. Replacement seats are included in the sale and it has a Mohair hood. Last MoTd in 2008. The file includes the original service book with one stamp in 1981, various MoTs dating from 1987 to 2008, a few invoices and the original sales brochure. Mileage recorded at 84,135. Chassis number 1416399.

That's right; the Southfield Police Department's Downtown Station is in front of a dead mall.
The Northland Center was opened in March 1954 and will close in April 2015. The shopping center was designed by Victor Gruen and developed by the J.L.Hudson Company. Northland Center was the largest shopping center in America when it opened and had the largest department store branch in the world. In 1974, the shopping center was enclosed plus JCPenney, and Montgomery Ward were added as anchors. MainStreet / Kohl's and Target were later anchor stores as well. Kohl's closed 1994, Montgomery Ward closed 1998, JCPenney closed 1999, Target closed 2015 (February 1st), and Macy's closed 2015 (March 22nd).

Don't know if this is a preserved vehicle or brand new on a showground of sort. Reg. No is a bit weird to me. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

"Eight registered keepers with the current owner for three years. Although the current owner has retained a list of dates and work undertaken during his three years of ownership, there is very little history prior to this. We have been advised that a bare metal restoration was undertaken by the previous keeper. The current registration plate was applied in 1990, after the original registration was removed for private plate 43 AJB to be applied from 1973. The file contains some previous MoT's, MoT history print-out from 2009 to current, invoices from 2013 and a DVLA list of all previous owners. Mileage recorded at 98,000.
