He was a shooting star,
His smile so bright, so rare,
That by the time that you had blinked,
There was no sign that it had been there....
I went to the park early before work yesterday and the plants were being watered so I was lucky to get this sparkly shot.
The water fountain in the Bert Weeks Memorial Garden on Windsor, Ontarioβs riverfront is wonderful. A while back, I posted a night time, long exposure version of this fountain with a slightly different perspective. But this particular image I took earlier in the evening when the sun was still up. What caught my eye was the interesting, sparkling effect the light had on the falling water.
Ploughing through the snow, it is hard work getting to the grass, morning sun made the snow to sparkle like stardust.

I watched this hungry Limpkin catch, open and eat about a dozen clams in record time at Myakka River State Park near Sarasota.
I don't know what these flowers are, but they were very pretty this morning just after the sprinklers turned off and as the sun was just beginning to come over the mountain adding sparkle to the water droplets. View large for best detail.
