My attempt at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Crack".
Once again staring too intensely at the bottom of my glass, I guess...
This crack in a beer glass is not small (roughly 4 cm long) and yet the glass has worked perfectly for years.

🔫This is the first splash page featuring one of the principal characters in my "Our New World" post apocalyptic saga. I'll be featuring more of these characters over the coming weeks as I'm concentrating most of my time and efforts on two other story lines at the moment. I will be picking this one back up though, as these other stories start to wind down or I get more time, etc. Thanks so much for taking a look and for anyone who actually reads my amateurish prose, thanks so much. You're very awesome. ;P

Free representation of Einstein’s theory of relativity!
Time marks the senses in the endless play of light and everything is projected in one cosmic day into one cosmic night
I’ve bent the reality of my sparkly scissors (see original in 1st comment box below) for Mixmaster Challenge 29:
CHEF BETH's theme is "Animal/Vegetable/Mineral/Abstract"! Here are the ingredients:
➤ Your image must be a pure, non-representational abstract.
➤ The source of your abstract must be a photo of a bird and/or a flower and/or a scissors (any one, two or all three).
➤ Your source photo(s) should not be recognizable (or only vaguely so) in the finished image.
➤ Be creative with your title which should convey the concept, composition and/or emotion of your abstract.
➤ You may use no other photos but the one, two or three noted above (though painting and other digital manipulation is fine).

Infinity is hard to comprehend and finiteness hard to accept, much more when we think about our own existence in spacetime. Don't take me wrong, though, I'm still philosophically materialist.
Thank you all for the feedback on my last posted pictures. It became impossible to answer all comments, though.
A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing — no particles or even electromagnetic radiation such as light — can escape from it. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole.
Godet XO Terre Cognac
Aged for 30 years in oak casks, Godet XO Terre an Extra Old cognac with lots of flavour and a fine finish. A blend of fresh, floral, fruity aromas that quickly give way to headier scents of cinnamon and spices. On the palate, marriage of lively sharp fruit flavors and complex notes of antique leather, oak and pepper.
