"A BILLINGHAM IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER BAG"

"A Billingham isnโ€™t about nostalgia or tradition and it is much more than just a desirable object. It is about wanting and expecting the best protection for your camera and equipment, giving you comfort and peace of mind. Billinghams are unlike any other bags and the way they are designed and made is key to their unique character. We have already highlighted how important quality and detail are to us, so it will come as no surprise for you to learn that there are typically more than one hundred individual components in a Billingham bag โ€“ the majority of which are custom-made by us or for us."

It's always strange when you spot an ex-London bus anywhere outside the capital.

Parked up in Page Moss, Liverpool, a former London United Scania OmniCity that originally carried the fleet numbers SP40 and, latterly, SP40040. If you look closely between the upper deck and the cab below you can still see where the 'London United' lettering used to be.

Still sporting a Transport for London roundel it is now operated by Birkenhead-based Happy Al's Coaches.

Despite hailing from the opposite side of the River Mersey Happy Al's operate a school service in the area and one of their vehicles can usually be found parked up in this spot during term-time school hours.

A rare shot in two senses. Firstly it's of a school route - the 696 - and I don't normally ever see those. Secondly it's a new Scania Omnicity double deck - Transdev London United SP40. It's nice when a complete surprise turns up and the photo is decent too. Location is Hayes and Harlington.

Having said earlier this week that it was rare for a white livery to appear on the X12 now, look what appears! SP40 pulls away with the 1130 to Dublin Airport.
