A soulmate is somebody with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, and/or compatibility. A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul – which is thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join. However, not everyone who uses these terms intends them to carry such mystical connotations.

Today marks a year since we came to the realisation that we wanted to be more than friends to each other. It was not a conscious decision but one that took us by surprise... and I'm so glad it did... my everything ♥

A soulmate is not someone you can walk away from that easily. It is someone you can't imagine being without, a person you believe is worth sticking with and fighting for.
A pineapple has a thick skin and a delicious sweet inside! The thick shell and soft core are often soulmates.

Do they really exist? Have they ever existed? Or have we created this illusion to feel less lonely in our uniqueness? And if you are lucky enough to have met a soul mate, the chosen one, does that mean you will be missing that person till the next soul mate that comes along? We are trapped in our own creation of this illusion. I believe in soul, but soul mate… We create romance to justify our feelings “forever” “soulmate”, till pain questions our trust that our soul can travel with other souls till they reach the sun and spread away to foreverness. Till we are remade from the same star.
for soulmates are stardust spread down on earth in the shape of human bodies that magnetise each other in eternal flow around each other, till we return to where we began. Inside each other, in a star.
