Long ago in a place far far away a young man met a young woman and with the magic of cupid, fate, and luck they fell in love and stayed together for over forty years. They had many adventures, traveled to foriegn lands, raised a family, she was his muse and he was amazed. Even until now they share laughter, tears, love, lust, dreams, dinners and chores. Each day ups and downs and many blessings. Amen , Amam.

did you ever wonder whatr kind of spirit animal a bear might have? Well, this one's is an owl.
(just so you know, this image-plus the following 4) will all be a part of the upcoming cd from Through Snowy Static. They are an adorable band from England and I will post more about that -including the finalized album images-later on, but for now I wanted to share them in their "pre-album" state)
You will believe in soulmates after reading this story. Susan sent us the photo and the story is in her words.
"Rocket J. Dog ("Rocky") was an unbelievably shy girl (brindle) who shook like a leaf at her Meet & Greet. I took her for a short walk just to get her away from the small dogs that were scaring her, and once she got out of the PetSmart she stopped shaking and looked up at me. I was a goner! My late husband couldn't fathom why I wanted such a shy girl when there were several sweet, waggy tail girls available. I didn't care - she was coming home with us!
She spent her first months hiding in the back of our closet, coming out only for food and bathroom. She never barked or wagged her tail, gathering socks and stuffies into her bed but otherwise seeming very sad.
After a few months I had to get her a boyfriend. She let me take her to the pet kennel GAL rented at Tucson Greyhound Park. We looked at one boy at a time to see who she liked. They were all sweet and thrilled to sniff a girl, and she liked them but then they bought out big red Condor. She went bananas. She barked, got into the play bow position, her tail rotating like a helicopter. They chased each other in the tiny turn out pen like maniacs. She was a dog!!
Of course we agreed to take him as a foster. He was neutered the next day and home he came. They loved each other. Rocky blossomed with her newly-named Bullwinkle T. Moose ("Moose").
Moose came from Rippitoe's kennel and was never healthy. He was always lame, and after many tests he had laser surgery to remove painful plantar warts on his pads. It was brutal and he never really got better. A toe was eventually amputated, and he just didn't want to try any more. He was six when he was put to sleep in our arms.
Rocky and I said goodbye to my husband 8 months later when his 11 month painful battle with melanoma ended."
Soulmate is a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, and/or compatibility. A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul – which is thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join.
