This is a calico kitten that we had in foster care along with another calico kitten, her sister, and her tabby and white brother. Our job as foster parents was to give them a care free early kittnehood and train them to be the best possible pets. Back at the shelter they were adopted quite quickly.

This one has been around for a while, picking up bits and pieces. It's also partial to the Amelanchier berries. Great to see it taking slugs!

Dear Chris, Kate, Simon & Martin
In March of this year we noticed a thrush (we think a song thrush) nesting in an amber traffic light in the centre of Leeds. Somebody did contact the BBC and they did feature on the evening news every so often.
We did manage to obtain some pictures of the fledglings, We have also included a map to show the exact site of the nest as we couldn't quite believe that a bird on red status would chose the bright city lights as her new home!
