How many people can remember that red plastic container of bubble solution with the stick inside that you can blow through to make bubbles? This is thought I had when I rested my tripod on Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast.
The weight of the sky and all of its fabulous sunset glory was a perfect way to cap off an incredible day in the Pacific Northwest of the USA.
Green Hairstreak butterfly on the Bilberry leaves on the moorland above Glossop. These tiny butterflies are only around for a few months and easy to miss amongst the foliage.

Fourth photo of a series of four on climate change.
The climate change conference in Paris is happening now, it is time to reflect and take action. What will we do with what we know?
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

Frustrated over the amount of mail he has to handle each winter, Santa came up with a brilliant solution, that not only freed him from the drudgery of reading badly spelt wish-lists, but also knocked a considerable amount off his heating bill.
So this winter, send Santa a long list to keep him warm :)
Crystals of copper sulphate (CuSO4), shot at Roger Hiorns' art piece "Seizure".
Seizure involved the hermetical-sealing of a condemned flat in Elephant & Castle, London. The flat was then filled with 75,000 litres of a hot super-saturated copper sulphate solution. This was then allowed to cool for over a month. Then the remaining solution was drained, leaving behind walls covered in shards of blue crystals. Both ephemeral and threatening, it was a beautiful alien conversion of a formerly familiar environment. The whole flat has since been moved to Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Taken with a Nikon D40, fitted with a Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD (Nikon AFS) lens, and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.

A real treat to see a Class68 down south in Dorset and I love the livery and logo. The powerfully deep sound was good too!

Quelle honte!
