Kayne - Rottweiler and Labrador mix breed
The dog’s use of its tongue to pant makes this muscle one of the most important parts of its body.
Besides lapping up food and water, or kissing its owner, the tongue serves as an essential heat regulator.
When dogs exercise, their tongues becomes larger and due to increased blood flow usually hang out of the mouth.
Thus, when a dog pants, it's actually cooling the dog's entire body. The dog's quick shallow breaths cause moisture on the tongue to evaporate thus cooling the tongue that in turn cools the blood flow through the tongue and the respiratory system.
Providing your dog with cool air on hot or humid days is very important for temperature regulation. This is why it is so dangerous to leave a dog in an unventilated heated car. The warm air keeps the tongue from doing its job.
Tongue injuries are uncommon, but if one occurs while the dog is warm and panting, like a splinter from chewing wood, the tongue may bleed excessively due to increased blood flow.
If this occurs it is very important to cool the dog down. If the dog exhibits symptoms of distress, it may be necessary to seek veterinary attention.

Big Homey Rab has been a freestyle master ever since the days that he was representing Brooklyn Zoo as Rog-A-Rab. SK Tha Don is a fundamental part of the TF Mafia organization as one of their most prominent emcees. He is a rap virtuoso that stands to be heard! Together the two bring solid performances, especially during songs like Gotham City (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh6UA5-8VEM).
TF Mafia is a group that was born and raised in the hoods of Brooklyn. And they represent that lifestyle to the fullest! But the Together Forever Conglomerate doesn’t just stop at rap music. One of the founding members is World Famous underground tribal house DJ, Steven Zor, who has played big name clubs like Limelight and Palladium. And then there’s TF Body Art, where you can go for all of your piercing and tattoo needs.

With songs like “Everybody Knows”, “Gotham City” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh6UA5-8VEM), and “Married to the Mob”, constant hit makers TF Mafia have been able to win over just about anybody. They have beats and rhymes that are even capable of appealing to people who don’t normally listen to rap music! And with the Together Forever mentality, and message staying true to the streets, it even delivers a message that’s much more positive.
That positive message hasn’t just been a part of TF Mafia’s creed. Big Rab and the other two founding members of TF Mafia who were involved with Brooklyn Zoo, Paulee Zance and Dibiase, have held onto it since they wre dropping rhymes with the Zoo. You’ll see the same logo in videos from back in the day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IC75hXsuyrg). And it’s also the name of a family that spans well beyond music.

From the ashes of Brooklyn Zoo rise TF Mafia! Brooklyn Zoo was a prolific rap group in the 80’s and 90’s who are best know for masterful songs like “Boo” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0NZUPwJoTE) and “Masters of the Zooniverse” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY3CCQxKO8I). If you look at the videos you’ll notice that the TF Logo and way of life was even prevalent back in the day. And you’ll see Big Rab when he was known as Rog-A-Rab.
After serving time in federal prison, founding members Paulee Zance and Rab found themselves back in Brooklyn with a knew lease on life towards the hood and the rap game. The Together Forever mentality that TF Mafia holds strong to never really went anywhere when they were away. And they were able to gather up other members of the family, as well as new artists like SK Tha Don and Po Stone. And with their album Bossilini the family is stronger then ever!

A very rare 1968 photo by Mick Rock of Jimi Hendrix in performance. This photo does not turn up in any of the many Hendrix iconography that is out there because it was done by this soon-to-be famous photographer when he was just starting out. He gave me this 20" x 24" print and signed it "For Noe - Best of Luck from David & Mick" and dated it "12/68" for the time it was shot. David is my friend and owner of Blazing Salads restaurant in New York's Greenwich Village, where Mick and I hung out in the '80s.

Mick Rock Brings Photo Exhibit to Morrison Hotel Gallery

Beginning October 26, the Morrison Hotel Gallery at 313 Bowery (the old CBGB Gallery) will host an exhibit on the photography of legendary lensman Mick Rock. The so-called “Man Who Shot the 70s” is responsible for capturing some of the most iconic music-star images of the era. Everyone from Bowie, Lou Reed, and Queen, to Lady Gaga.
This Morrison Hotel show is basically just PR for his new coffee-table book, "Exposed: the Faces of Rock n’ Roll," which includes 200 previously unreleased photos among its pages.

As you can tell from this photo TF Mafia has some serious T-shirts. During each hot video, performance and promotional tour that the hit rap group has made It seems like they come across at least one hot woman who’s sporting the low curt version of the shirt. But the TF on the shirt isn’t just a logo, It’s a way of life that Big Rab has been representing since the days of Brooklyn Zoo. And it’s a way that isn’t going to change anytime soon!
The “TF” in TF Mafia stands for Together Forever. And it is a mentality that Big Rab, Paulee Zance, Dibiase, and the other members held on to since the very beginning. And that’s why you’ll even see the trademark logo make one appearance during videos for the likes of “Boo” and “Masters of the Zooniverse”. When Big Rab returned from a prison term and got back in the rap game, he brought back the mentality of Together Forever.

If there’s anyone out there who knows his way around the rap game, it’s Big Homey Rab of TF Mafia. He is a seasoned MC and master freesylist who has been a rapper for well over 29 years. He is best know as being a member of the subliminal rap institution Brooklyn Zoo, in the 80’s and 90’s, Brooklyn Zoo, when he was Rog-A-Rab.. you can still see him representing the Zoo back in the day by checking out videos for the likes of “Masters of the Zooniverse” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY3CCQxKO8I).
Brooklyn Zoo came to an abrupt end when many of the former members, Rab included, served time in federal prison/. But once Rab was released he put the bad things behind him, and stuck with what he liked about the rap game. And the other members like Po Stone, and SK Tha Don, lead by his example. And they hold on to the Together Forever mentality that was prevalent back in the days of Brooklyn Zoo, even more so today.

A GWR 3200 class, nicknamed the Dukedog, because of the Duke class boiler mounted on a bulldog frame.
I've given it a blue livery with a red highlights. To reflect Edwards, as it is a 4-4-0 engine. Though I do not see this engine Edward, but have gone to refer to it as, Snoopdog.
This is my only engine to date that has the number built into the design, rather than utilizing a sticker or printed tile.

TF Mafia most recent performance was during Suzie Wong’s 2nd annual Rookie of the Year Performance. The spot, which is one of New York’s leading new cocktail bar & lounge’s, give new acts who are just emerging onto the scene a chance to shine in a different venue. The hit rap group from Brooklyn were more than up to the task. Andf when they took the stage they really won the crowd ever with songs like “Black Out”, and “Everybody Knows”!
With playing out new spots like Suzie Wong, and getting notice on Radio Stations like Power 105, TF Mafia have been winning over new audiences left and right. It’s only a matter of time before they emerge as the next big rap group to rock the foundation of music. And it’s only just begun since this is only after their first album, “Bossilini”!
