Afgelopen woensdag was er de gelegenheid voor teams om te testracen op het circuit van Zandvoort. De Clio's waren, uiteraard, compleet kansloos tegen de circuit Porsches en de SLS AMG GT3. Maar de flink uitgebouwde Mégane's van Renault waren betere concurrentie voor de Mercedes. Sterker nog, de SLS werd zelfs een paar keer ingehaald door een circuit-Mégane. Al ging het natuurlijk niet om het racen, maar puur voor teams om te trainen en te testen.

euch allen einen frohen ersten Mai! Herzlich Willkommen an alle, die noch oder schon wieder wissen, was ein Blog ist. Kinder, Alkohol ist böse! Nein, Spaß beiseite…

Ich war das gesamte Wochenende sehr viel unterwegs und wie versprochen hab ich heute die Bilder vom DTM Saisonauftakt in Hockenheim für euch. Das Wetter hat es an beiden Tagen gut gemeint. Nachdem es am Samstag bis zu 33°C hatte, war der Sonntag etwas milder. Ich war zwar nur sonntags da, aber es hat trotzdem für einen ordentlichen Sonnenbrand gereicht!

Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit ist neben Audi und Mercedes auch wieder BMW als dritter Hersteller in der DTM vertreten. So sind es nun 22 Autos, 4 mehr als noch im letzten Jahr. Das hat dafür gesorgt, dass auch viele Fahrer den Rennstall gewechselt haben. Martin Tomczyk oder Bruno Spengler fahren beispielsweise jetzt für BMW.

Laut Streckenkommentator waren die Tribünen nahezu alle ausverkauft, was bedeutet, dass etwa 90.000 Menschen den Weg zum Hockenheimring gefunden haben!
