My latest acquisition from a Berlin flea market. Probably the smallest true SLR with interchangeable lenses ever produced. Looks like a toy but doesn't feel like one. The motor drive works but the battery cover (a notoriously weak point) has lost the lugs which held it in place. There is no user control over exposure and the film wind lever rather strangely has to be turned twice. Still, nicer than either the Minolta or Rollei 110. Pity that the film size gives crappy pictures.
I remember this. I was tired from driving and was sleeping in the hotel when the guys decided to tiptoe into the room. Now before you think them very considerate mates indeed, know that they just didn't want to inadvertantly wake me before they gave yells and war cries while leaping into my bed! MAN-almost gave me a heart attack! But that was the fun of our youthful years-we'd take roadtrips across the country together, share a hotel room (so we each paid like $10/night) and just had fun! I miss that-it almost made being single endurable
