You don't see many of these about, its a lovely Mercedes Benz SLR Mclaren and it made a lovely noise too!

04/28/2012 A BBG visitor carrying an AF SLR and a Pentax ME Super. Kodak Ektar 100. Konica Autoreflex T3. Konica Hexanon 50mm 1:1.4.
Swirled SLR and swirled HAC. The SLR is incredible. The grip is a little small, so it pops out of minifigure hands a bit too easily, but it's still great :) And the HAC? It looks like Will dumped glitter into the mold or something. Probably my favorite of the bunch :D

This is my "new" Nikon FG. I picked her up off Craigslist today. I needed an old school SLR that I wouldn't worry about using. As you will see, my Nikon FG-20 is too perfect to use!
I have lots of great old Konica SLR gear but I don't often shoot 35 mm film anymore ( when I shoot film nowadays it's usually medium format or 4"x5"). Rather than let all my beautiful old lenses go to waste I decided to adapt them for some sort of digital use. The first step was to buy an old broken camera body on eBay ($8.00) and then scavenge a couple of parts from an old Kiowa student microscope. After a little disassembly; some work with the Dremel tool; and a modicum of JB Weld the camera body now functions to couple my superb old Konica Hexanon lenses to a USB CCD chip.
So far I am quite pleased with the results. The main drawback is that operation requires a laptop.
it was just amazing , i just get out of the train and walked some meters and then there was this beautiful mclaren slr roadster !
