The River San Juan carved this incredible rock formations called Goosenecks. The place is really suggestive and leaning from the ledge of the canyon can be highly dizzy. The only way I've found to capture the entire scene was the fisheye lens. I guess that the final effect can do the work.

a collaborative mural created by Indigenous Artist Mo Thunder.
During two interactive art-journalling workshops led by Mo, community members contributed to the creative process which went towards presenting the artwork.
This was built to challenge myself to make something on a 10x10 plate. It is inspired by the album cover art of Skyworld by Two Steps From Hell (I recommend it. The name is questionable, but the music is really hyping). The title is spur-of-the-moment.
ENGLISH
I almost forgotten who am I and why I am in this world. I remember perfectly when I took this photograph in Spain, was the moment when I realized how beautiful life is when you know what to do with it. I had completely forgotten, to the point that it no longer looked at the sky, and when I did I felt lost in its immensity. But when I look at the sky and feel an inner strength that grows inside myself, making me able to get anything I want in life, is when I discover why i am here. The true meaning of life as a human, our race is destined to conquer the universe, expand and survival. We are powerful, we are energy, we can do anything .... we have to look beyond what our eyes can see.

Habia casi olvidado por completo quien era y para que estoy en este mundo. Recuerdo perfectamente cuando tome esta fotografía en España, fue aquel momento cuando me di cuenta de lo hermosa que es la vida cuando sabes lo que hacer con ella. Lo habia olvidado por completo, hasta el punto que ya no miraba al cielo, y cuando lo hacia me sentía perdido en su inmensidad. Pero cuando miras al cielo, y sientes que una fuerza interior crece dentro de ti, haciéndote capaz de conseguir cualquier cosa que quieras en la vida, es entonces cuando descubres para que estas aqui. El verdadero sentido de la vida como humano, nuestra raza esta destinada a conquistar el universo, a expandirnos y a la supervivencia. Somos poderosos, somos energía, podemos hacer cualquier cosa que nos propongamos, solo.... tenemos que mirar mas alla de lo que nuestros ojos pueden ver.
The Celestial tree references the Hotinonshon:ni creation story; it’s life-giving fruit (shown here with a strawberry, a sacred fruit and medicine) and its roots open a portal between the realms of Karonhia:ke (Skyworld) and earth. Many women’s hands likely went into this work, as our grandmothers worked together. The work was often divided among family members young and old, from drawing and cutting patterns to counting and threading the beads. This piece may have been originally sold at a Niagara Falls souvenir shop.
