Introducing another of my wild friends, Sirius Blackbird.
He's Cilla Blackbird's partner, and it was Cilla that introduced us, at the beginning of their breeding season!
Not long after I established a friendship with Cilla (who would land close by for me to throw food to her), she landed beside me with Sirius in tow; I'm sure there was some communication between us all, led by Cilla: 'Pauline, this is Sirius; Sirius, this is the human I told you about---I'll be back at the nest, sitting on eggs; you land here, look cute, she'll throw you food, you pick it up, and bring it to me at the nest; OK, everyone?'
Within a couple of days, I saw only Sirius, who duly collected food and flew off with it, a routine that got exponentially more frequent once their chicks had hatched and he had even more mouths to feed!
I think Sirius and Cilla had three broods this year, and I didn't see much of Cilla until the breeding season was over.

These earrings are made in two versions. To combine as you like. 4 colors of metal, 4 colors of stones, 4 colors of circle. You can change the color of the circle as you wish, and set the level of luminescence that is convenient. If the circle is not needed it can be removed. Also included in the set is a sweep thanks to which (if you know Photoshop), you can draw your own unique pattern!

When I'm out hiking I'!m always checking the sky and see if I can spot Orion.
If I see Orion's belt then I know that my favorite star is nearby.
Sirius (also known as the "Dog Star") (means "glowing" or "scorching") is a star system and the brightest star in the Earth's night sky. What the naked eye perceives as a single star is a binary star system, consisting of a white main-sequence star, termed Sirius A, and a faint white dwarf companion, called Sirius B. (Wikipedia)
This star is very bright and it shifts from red to blue to white. You really can't miss it.
♥
Can I say I adore a Star? Lol 😄 Yes, at least of this kind 🙏
Night thinning. Between heavy rain episodes last night. Orion constellation and Sirius star very well visible regarding our peri urban light pollution
