Simple Things.
With all the hustle and bustle of planning, doing this, getting that, looking for this, and figuring out what to come. It seems to be easy to forget how this all started. I have found myself thinking about May 25th quite frequently these days. Sure it has only been 11 weeks, but it feels like it could have just happend yesterday. Thinking about the way i felt that entire day, talking to the people at work, barely eating the amazing steak dinner she cooked me that night, the shopping trip that felt like it wouldn't end, then the nervousness that she would say she would rather not "take photos" and just go home and relax.
I love holding her hand, I love the simple things. the feel of her ring inbetween my fingers just feels SO RIGHT. We're just under a year away and I know its going to be an a m a z i n g year... :)

January 26th 2013: Sometimes the simplest things in life can be seen with complex patterns. Patterns that hold together perfectly to make an image that is well balanced. Today's image is of simple staples you can find in any office, any home or shop. They are tiny, but they do their job better than glue. Great little anchors.. do you ever wonder who anchors you or holds you together. Sounds silly.. but its worth a thought.
Pagewood Farms Alyeska yarn - love, love, love. The yarn is wonderful.
I cast on at the top of the spine, worked in stockinette till I felt like I was near the end, and then put in some purl/eyelet ridges. So simple - and I love it. :)
