NGC 6188 is an emission nebula located about 4,000 light years away in the constellation Ara. The bright open cluster NGC 6193, visible to the naked eye, is responsible for a region of reflection nebulosity within NGC 6188.

The Pacman Nebula NGC281

 

This is my first edit I’ll probably try a Hubble pallet version later.

 

NGC 281 is a bright emission nebula and is found in the constellation of Cassiopeia.

The nebula is at a distance of 9459 light years from of with a radius of 48 light years.

The Ha data was taken from very light polluted skies while the OIII and SII was taken in really dark skies. The original hubble pallete was modified slightly to get rid of the green tones.

Photographed February 2019 / Konica SII 35mm rangefinder camera with Konishiroku HEXANON 48mm/2 lens. Film was Rollei RPX 400 bulk film stock metered ASA 200 developed in PYROCAT-HD (5ml A + 50ml B > 600ml, 7min, 20*C). Negative was digitalised in a JUMBL scanner box unit; image was processed & finished in Flickr.
