Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful,

we must carry it with us or we find it not..

I know it has been quite awhile for me to do another Showcase, but I have been quite busy lately so have not really had the time to put one together and I really don't want to be rushed and have to "quickly" throw something together as the artists deserve more time and effort than that.

For my second spotlight I would love to showcase Ella. I'm sure many of you already know who Ella is and if you are unsure you most definitely would have seen her grace the Explore pages. She is not only beautiful but an amazing photographer, just a few examples shown above. She is one of the Bokeh Wednesday Queen's without a doubt and always totally rocks it! Her children are amazingly gorgeous. I have to admit for awhile I thought she only had a daughter... lol I think she is more likely to get in front of mommy's camera than her big brother!! Unless you are a trusted friend you will no longer be able to view photos of her gorgeous kids as they are now private. She is a wonderful, caring woman and without a doubt one of my very favourite photographers on Flickr.

She inspires me on a daily basis and I look forward to each and every upload she makes. I only wish we lived closer because im sure we would be good friends and our daughters would most certainly love each other! If you are looking for inspiration, kindness, honesty and friendship you must head over to her stream...

Don't just sit there, I am done here... go on...

Be Inspired.

World Showcase

France

This is not a showcase as in a cars conference showcasing. On my way to Blackpoint to do wildlife photography, I spotted this car at a car repair shop. It was placed up front as an advertisement piece for the shop. I asked the mechanic in the shop if I can take few photos, and he said he had to ask the owner. Few minutes later, the owner showed up so I asked again, and his answer was yes. So I shot this car with my normal and with my IR Camera. Here it is shown from the IR photo. The only thing real about this photo is the car. The background is a stock canvas I have, the lights are from a different photo I took in a studio, and the palms are AI generated. The assembling of this photos, was done through photoshop, producing this car as if it is in showcase.

I admit, I have no idea, the make or the year of the car but its presence and beauty caught my eye.

Decorative brickwork on the outside of the Ibstock Parkhouse brickworks in Newcastle-under-Lyme. A good way to showcase the product.

What a survivor! Wonder how much longer this one has though, lots of damage to the bodywork

Thank you to Designer Showcase for selecting my photo as your cover!

Illuminations fireworks show at Epcot's World Showcase in Walt Disney World from the Plaza Showcase.

This is a 41.5 second exposure using a 3-stop neutral density filter. I wrote more about photographing Illuminations from this location on AllEars today at Illuminations from Showcase Plaza.

Thank you so much for choosing my photo as your Cover.

This image showcases the iconic Ferry Building Clock Tower in San Francisco, a timeless landmark symbolizing the city’s rich history and maritime heritage. The architectural style of the tower is inspired by the 12th-century Giralda in Seville, Spain, yet it possesses a distinctly San Francisco character. The structure features classic lines, a muted beige facade, and four prominent clock faces that are a defining feature of the waterfront skyline.

At the very top, the American flag flutters gently, adding a sense of pride and identity to the scene. Below, a white flag bearing a logo and the California state flag flank the base of the tower, further grounding the image in its locale. The overcast sky provides a soft, diffused light that highlights the textures and details of the tower's design, while the faint hints of blue in the clouds contrast subtly with the building’s warm tones.

The clock faces are elegantly designed with Roman numerals and ornate black hands, giving them a classic yet functional aesthetic. The open colonnade near the top of the tower adds depth and a sense of lightness to the otherwise solid structure, creating a balance that draws the eye upward.

Friday 7th October 2016 saw the Greater Manchester Police Band take part in a Musical Showcase at Bolton’s Victoria Hall.

The event was organised by band member Paul Heptinstall and was raising funds for the Brain Research Trust and Dementia UK. Paul also performed a solo set as Smooth Sax.

The event featured Manchester Show Choir and the pipes and drums of the Scots Guard’s Association.

Manchester based singer and songwriter Penny Nichols and singer John Norcott both preformed a selection of songs.

The evening was hosted by stand-up comic Chris Boyle.
