The Sweet shop, Tissington, Derbyshire. If you walk up through the village and take the right hand fork, the last house has a pleasant surprise. Its set up as an old fashioned sweet shop selling boiled sweets etc. The walk back through the village is surprisingly quite as everyone sucks away on their favourite childhood sweets !
The shop where time stood still... But if really want to buy a few rolls, the entry door is to the left.

Windows are an important part of street photography for me. On the one hand, there are the interesting reflections, but also the confusion that sometimes arises and has to be resolved first. Fenster sind für mich in der Streetphotographie ein wichtiger Bestandteil. An old fashioned butchers shop with fresh game in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. I haven’t seen a shop like this for many years, there used to be one in Almondbury, where I lived as a teenager, it was an interesting place with rabbits, hare, duck, pheasant and grouse hung outside.

"Asakusa Nakamise Shopping Street
Making the most out of your day at this popular street"
"Nakamise is the most famous shopping street in Asakusa. The street runs for 250 meters on the main approach to Sensoji Temple and is lined on both sides with shops selling traditional souvenirs, snacks, and sweets.
This street is actually on temple property and so it starts and ends with a temple gate: at the southern end is the outer gate of Kaminarimon, and at the northern end is the inner gate of Hozomon. Between these two gates are 89 shops, with 54 shops on the east side, and 35 shops on the west. “Nakamise” is a traditional name given to shopping streets on the grounds of temples or shrines, so this is not the only “Nakamise” in Japan, but it is one of the oldest and most famous."
