~thanks to everyone who bought it~

for some time I have been thinking "how awesome would it be to go to an origami meeting wearing a folded t-shirt?"

well, there's only one way to find out........

so I bought me some jersey fabric, put in a rhombic vortex shadowfold and then sewed a t-shirt using that manipulated fabric. obviously I did have help and guidance for that last bit of work, otherwise I wouldn't have had any chance of success. in fact that guidance came from a sewing studion in return for giving a shadowfold workshop there before. many thanks to antje and texstile from potsdam!!

I need to thank jeff rutzky for teaching me the first shadowfolds and taking these pictures at last weekend's origami meeting in geneva, too!

and last but not least I would never have thought of that if oschene hadn't sparked the idea in my mind with a nice comment on one of my early shadowfold pics (thanks!) - goes to show why a vibrant origami community is such a great thing... :-D

I was a little surprised to see a t-shirt with japanese text in a shop (saying "Anata wa utsukushii" = "You are beautiful"). I didn't buy it though. I found some other design which I like more :)
