I bet you didn't know, but rain comes from the drool of Cloudbo!
White ink on navy shirts, screenprinted by hand--this means they have character (and possibly some minor bleeding)! Distressed-looking, each shirt is unique.
$14.99 shipped in the US. PM me if you want one, they are very very very very limited right now.
A shirt I made for Mat from Heather Ross's Mendocino fabric line. Blogged here: hazelnutgirl.blogspot.com/2010/02/mendocino-shirt.html
as inherited from my dad. they bought these shirts for all the kids
that participated in sports at his school. way way way back in the
day.
Something in the back of my mind is saying that this t-shirt may be mildly racist, but it's undeniably a t-shirt for Eskimo Joe's in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Another loaner from Dan.
If you are using a rotary cutter and you aren't used to cutting stretchy fabrics with it, take note. It will create a much better, unbroken cut if you gently tug the fabric AWAY from the cutter in the direction you are cutting towards.
I'm using this Oliver + S pattern to make a shirt for my son - the top fabric is the muslin and the bottom is the final fabric (but I might change my mind!). I've traced the pattern and cut out the muslin so far.
Well, this didn't turn out the way I planned at all.
I actually picked up a "stencil brush" at the store, and thought that I'd give it a try. Yeah - I'm a little underwhelmed by the result.
The funny thing is that with the way that the mouth ran, this little sock monkey creature looks quite gruesome! I'm probably still going to let Schecky have this shirt, but he's probably going to have to sleep it in.
'cause I have a feeling that if I let him wear it out to school, etc. that I'll be getting a call from DFCS...

Watch with dress shirt
Men are lucky in that for us clothing styles don't change much. For some, the best way to show style is with a fancy watch (or cuff links, etc). Normally, the watch is worn under the shirt, but I thought I would show it off by having it over the sleeve.
I hope you like it.
Cheers,
Wade

My dress is still on back order due in soon. I'll be making a white poet's shirt to wear underneath it.
I'll also be making a white poet's shirt for chris and a blue one for Charlie. I found a brilliant shade of blue that's going to look incredible with his eyes.
Oh change of plans for Halloween.
Charlie will be a devil and Annie an angel (role reversals you know-there's humor in that). I need to make the guys some clothes for ren fair the weekend of the 25th. Busy weekend that! Ren Faire one day and special event the other. I'm not at liberty to disclose. Yeah, I know, I can't keep a secret but I already told Christopher so I don't have to tell you. :-P
