I adore Sony Digicams! Image Quality is simply amazing. Macro can be compared to high-end Point and Shoots and other entry level SLR. But that's just me. :3

A simple still shot of a candle and shell arrangement. I desaturated the photo and added a paper texture. Not totally sure I like it, but I must keep going . . .

Nothing quite like the natural beauty of a shell.

JULIANA THEORY - "Shell Of A Man"

I won't nurture, and feed this bitterness

It's worth it, seen any of this

Love and forgiveness

Are timeless and true

I know you're full of fear

I hope I'm never like you

I won't nurture, and feed this hate

It's empty and doesn't change a thing

Love will endure when it comes to the end

I see you're insecure

I know there's hope for you

Why can't I let go?

I'm only the shell of a man

I'm lost in myself

And afraid of who I really am

The shell of a man

I won't nurture, and feed hostility

It's pointless to dwell on my anger

Love is the answer innate as it seems

I know you're full of hate

I hope I'm never the same

I won't nurture, and feed this hate

Imagine the magnitude of

Love that is giving the chance to prevail

I see you're full of tears

And I can sense you're here

Why can't I let go?

I'm only the shell of a man

I'm lost in myself

And afraid of who I really am

The shell of a man

Take what you want to

Now that you got the chance to

Take it, why don't you?

Now that you got the chance to [x2]

Why can't I let go?

I'm only the shell of a man

I'm lost in myself

And afraid of who I really am

The shell of a man

Why can't I let go?

I'm only the shell of a man

I'm lost in myself

And afraid of who I really am

The shell of a man

This is a macro of a shell that a co-worker brought into work the other day. It reminds me of photos in my husbands astronomy books of distance nebulas.

This is one of my sterling silver butterfly brooches. This one has paua shells as the stone I set. This one is one of my favs. It measures 1 3\4 X 1 1\2 inches. It's handmade with sterling silver wire. I made the bezel. I didn't cut the stone.

The shell pickings were kind of slim in the islands. I was a bit disappointed. We found a beach area that was very deserted and that is where we found these. Otherwise I would have come back empty handed and very very sad. I also found feathers! bonus.

These special racks in the boathouse can stack the shells up 4 high. To make them easier to carry out, these racks slide out so it is easier for the team to get under the boat.

parker found the shell of a hermit crab. funny because a hermit crab is all i want to be right now.

Macro with some used and load shell Levi gave me

inspired by mari mahr, by using her technique

These shells came from a beach in Hawaii, about six years ago. My husband went over to visit his son, they had a wonderful time together, and he brought back these shells that they had gathered on the beach.

It looked like a good subject for high key : )

Edit * My husband is letting me know that his son, Eric, gathered these shells while he was diving in the ocean! He dove for every single shell! A very special memory of a great time they spent together : )

Collected from the beach in Barbados. I sat at the table watching the kids in play in the sea, while I sorted these out. I forgot how much I love shells.
