For this week's Macro Mondays challenge I went with my sunglasses and sun hat. In order to get the star burst I set the appeture all the way down which meat I needed to set he camera on a tripod so I could use my cable shutter release. The image is right at the 3" limit
After Pavel's (just) critique of the first version, here is a the woodland shady spot processed from a completely fresh start on the RAW file. A darker image but more in keeping with my memory of the scene.

Taken on the streets of Puerto Vallarta. I love these rustic awnings. They are beautiful and do the trick.

The plan is to post some images over the next while from my stay in Vallarta last year that I haven't gotten around to posting. I thought I should do that soon as another visit is fast approaching. Don't want to get too far behind.

I took these at 300+ mm with my Tamron f 9 ISO800 on my Fujifilm x-t2
I braced the camera with my elbows on the deck rail - I did not think I could get a clear shot since these tiny flowers were at least 50 feet away and in the shade.
This is a fancy 18 to 300+mm F 3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (internal stabilization... )
Perfect for me since I love handholding my camera. It is worth every penny and salo goes on Sony cameras.
Inside of the Torii tunnel was relatively dark and it was cloudy day. Some Toriis were lit with sunlight coming through woods and showed fresh vermilion coliour.

I find that resting bitch face is a blessing. Many people never speak to me based on the expression on my face, yet my face doesn't always reflect my thoughts. Neither does my tone. However, many people weed themselves out. I'm okay with that. Not really a surface kind of girl anyway. Have a blessed day everyone!
This dress, btw, If you like shine and sparkles do not pass up this dress. There is an amazing amount of light reflection. It's like nothing I have seen in Second Life Before.
