The Seven Sisters is a wonderful stretch of coast in southern England, where the chalk cliffs stand out brilliantly white from the surroundings. I was able to capture them at sunset.

This is a new photo for the Black Tongue Review project. A picture illustrating the Chad Sweeney's poem, "Seven Horses".
"Seven Horses
Seven horses in the clover
five reds and two blacks
but three of them were white
and four were glass and six iron
and two away but one stood north
and twelve of sound and none of rain
and all the horses when the horses
faced inside themselves and their
disappearance was everywhere."

Quite possibly one of the best bus turning circles on the south coast with a wonderful view over Birling Gap and the Seven Sisters.
Our very own preserved former Roundabout DT29 G29 TGW attended the Eastbourne Bus Rally on Sunday 2nd July 2023 and made three return trips from the Railway Station to Beachy Head on route 97. It is seen here at the Beachy Head turning circle on the first run of the day.

This was the taken from the Agra Fort. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb, in the fort in the Muasamman Burj, a tower with a marble balcony with an excellent view of the Taj Mahal.
Since that area wasnt accessible to public I took the shot from one of the nearby Rooms.
It is said that Shah Jahan would spend hours looking out towards the Taj from this place and remember his Queen who was buried there.
I would have loved this in color but it was covered in fog .. the BW conversion got rid of most of it though.
Pre-historic burial mound on copt hill, first excavated in 1877 and mortuary structure of neolithic date unearthed, spot now marked with six beech trees and a sapling as the seventh tree died!
Monday, I could wait till Tuesday
If I make up my mind
Wednesday would be fine, Thursday's on my mind
Friday'd give me time, Saturday could wait
But Sunday'd be too late...

During the Balkan Wars, the previously Ottoman city of Scutari fell 1913 to Serbia and Montenegro after a seven-month siege. However, an international conference in London awarded the city to the young state of Albania. An international naval blockade involving the German cruiser Breslau forced the withdrawal of troops from Scutari. An international corps of British, German, French, Italian and Austro-Hungarian contingents was formed as military security. The German contribution consisted of a company-sized naval infantry detachment of 120 volunteers.
In the centre of Heroes’ Square is this monument to the 'Seven Chieftains of the Magyars'.
The leaders of the seven tribes who arrived in present day Hungary in 895 AD are depicted in bronze sculptures. That began the "Honfoglalás", the conquest of the "homeland". The Kingdom of Hungary was formed around 1000 AD.

There is a nice buffet on a mall's top floor. Well-located, with some free tables it offers diet food as well as a view. Three of seven 'Sisters' are seen from there. 'Seven sisters' is a name of skyscrapers. Those buildings were meant to be the high skyline points and architecture dominants of our capital. It has a pre-revolutionary college on the right, houses, Brezhnev's architecture, a skyscraper and some new attachments. It's even got a building crane!

Seven little trees in the morning mist. There is only a slight vintage effect applied using snapseed. Perhaps, I will re-edit this one if I've I'm less busy.
Until then, this image - which I uploaded a year ago - will make a big step forward in my photo stream. :))))
Tools: Aperture, Snapseed.

The Seven Sisters is a series of chalk cliffs by the English Channel. They form part of the South Downs in East Sussex, between the towns of Seaford and Eastbourne in southern England. They are within the Seven Sisters Country Park which is bounded by the coast, the Cuckmere and the A259 road. They are the remnants of dry valleys in the chalk South Downs, which are gradually being eroded by the sea.
