It’s difficult to see a field this size and not want to run through it and touch each one of these Sunflowers. It looks like a “Neighborhood” unto itself. The setting sun just intensifies the beauty that’s already there. Thanks for viewing my work, Be Grateful for everything.
The Reddish Egret often hunts by forming a canopy with its wings over the water to reduce glare and to attract fish to the shade. That's exactly what this one was doing in a tidal pool on a beach near Fort Myers.

A young lady setting up her Sony camera for a session in the late evening under the midnight sun of Yellowknife Canada, a time of the year when this regions enjoys almost 24 hours of daylight and the Golden Hour extends from 11:00 on until 7 am for any photographer that wishes to stay up for the night.
The wind finally died down just in time to catch the Milky Way setting over the Ocean. Whatipu beach is a remote spot on the West Coast of Auckland, famous for shipwrecks and ghost stories. It was a spine tingling experience shooting the galaxy in such a mystical place. 28 shot pano, 25secs @ ƒ4.5 24mm.
I've been trying for several weeks to get a reasonable black and white shot. It appears I am not a monochrome kinda guy. Oh well.

Late sunset light over the coast of Maine. took this to ISO 400 at f/8 to get the 30 second exposure, enough to smooth out the reflection in the breezy evening but not too much keeping some of the nice cloud definition that was in the pretty sky that evening.
Pemaquid Point, Maine
So, much like I recently acquired a 10-24mm lens, I also squired a 50-140 Telephoto. I have a Teleconverter for it, but I wanted a bit more reach for some of the Elk in the area. This is the sun dropping down at Cowee Mountain Overlook on the Blue Ridge parkway in North Carolina. It was a pleasure to be up there in the chilly fall air, first day of October getting some new shots, and trying out the techniques with these new lenses.

No Filters, Just setup on my tripod, trying to avoid lens flare from shooting into the big ball of light.
It was early morning at Lake Bohinj, Slovenia, and the overnight mist was clearing. The rowers had just set off in their kayaks to creat a very pretty scene for me.
