This old guy got out of bed in the dark and managed to successfully negotiate the “NO Mercy” morning-commute traffic to arrive on-time for a sunrise shoot. This little fellow was waiting. Made it all worthwhile ;-)

Percussion set (drum set) - a set of drums, cymbals and other percussion instruments, adapted for the convenient playing of a drummer. Commonly used in jazz, blues, rock and pop music.
For individual instruments, the setups are played with drumsticks, various brushes and mallets. The hi-hat and bass drum are played with pedals, so the drummer plays from a special chair.
The drum kit has changed a lot over time and changes constantly. Popular musical styles, famous musicians and designers, as well as the development of instrument production technology, play a significant role in the development.
The main function of the drummer as part of the rhythm section of a musical group is to create the main rhythm (together with bass guitar, rhythm guitar). As a rule, drummers use repetitive patterns. The rhythm is based on the alternation of a low bass drum sound and a high, sharp snare sound.
In addition to this basic function, the drummer decorates, emphasizes the main accents and melody changes. Mostly cymbals are used, especially crash or snare drum shots. Some works include a drum solo, while the rest of the instruments fade into the background.

We got up for moon set. Luckily we were early as the moon disappeared 15 minutes earlier than the time in the tables.
After having a few days where the weather was gloomy, and i was gloomy waiting for my camera to arrive, suddenly I was set free, and the weather lifted. Walking the beach with a camera is such a liberating feeling, so set me free, by The Sand Band is perfect for my wave of euphoria. I'm sure it won't last long.
A beautiful hazy morning on Ullswater, it was one of those morning when you can almost sense that something special is going to happen. I went to one of my usual spots on the shores of Ullswater, set my gear up and waited for things to happen. The first hint of colour started from the left gradually covering the clouds and sky with a stunning pastel orange glow. One of those morning when you realise why you get up early, and stand for a while waiting..

Smokefest is a passion project set to bring music lovers from all across the grid to one venue for 4 amazing nights. Every Saturday in January is a new mix of singers and DJs are set to perform on a very unique stage that provides a one of a kind show featuring dancers and a synced light show.
